For me that would be the wrong move..... UNLESS the deal was a loan swap deal for a year- we then get brierley back. There should be a caveat put in there that is hardaker puts a foot wrong then the deal is off. That solves our full back issue and leeds' half back issue short term.
No way should we be allowing brierley to move on otherwise.

| Are we really so desperate to consider moving Brierley on? ' surely not I hope.
Hardaker would be a good signing to solve our FB slot but not at the expense of creating a bigger problem in the halves?
Personally really looking forward to seeing Brough and Brierley next year after a full pre sesson together so will be devastated if that cannot happen. Hoping they both go well in the four nations games.
Getting a bit worried about the lack of news in the recruitment front and also confirmation of who else may be moving on. Appreciate we have a tendency to only announce signings once fully confirmed so hoping no news is good news.

| Talk on the Leeds board is Hardaker going to Cas.
Good player but a lot of off field stuff and do we want that? I'll buck the trend and say I wouldn't go for him given his history, and where did this rumour come from anyway?

Mentioned in League Express (joining us or Cas with Salford chasing too) but then again they have predicted Knights players to us and Crabtree to go too and that ain't happened either.

| I and a few others have been screaming for a half with pace for years, and as much as i rate Hardaker i would not let Breirley go, we have messed about with make do men for long enough, I can't believe anyone at the Giants would be that stupid, but then again.
If it came down to a case of us and Cas for Hardaker ," IF " I think Cas would be strong favorites, but i'd love to see him at Giants.

Why would Cas be strong favourites to sign him. I appreciate they may be about to cash in on Solomona. However they have already signed Greg Eden to play full back next year so their priorities will be in other areas.

| If we can "afford" it ...........................given the "standards" Ken sets and z h`s "record"I cant see it going forward without some very tight conditions on his future behaviour
Whilst Lads are"lads" it`s claimed he crossed the line once or twice in his personal life and otherwise WHY would Gary have released him (man osteel and all that !)
However IF the tiger can be tamed its only the inverse of leeds taking onboard our friend Mr Ferres
As such I wouldnt mind too much ashis on field talent is obvious -----so long as it doesnt involve us losing an half back weve just signed prior to seeing the damage HE might do alongside Broughy ?
Seems that way -its robbing PETER to pay PAUL and status quo --which means we arent moving forward After last season thats no 1 priority in my book!

Its just a gut feeling, I have no info saying Cas are flush or anything. Isn't he from over that neck of the woods " which doesn't mean a lot i know " but D Powell is making quite a name for himself as a coach, and that sometimes is enough to attract a player, Time will tell i suppose, We may not be even trying for him for all i know. I certainly wouldn't loose Brierley to get him though.

Cas announcing a signing at noon. Hardaker? Probably.

| I can't see anyone of note wanting to sign for us following last season TBH. I'm expecting very uninspiring signings -if any at all!
If we had anyone at all of note lined up they would have been announced at the start of the week to get the ST sales moving.

| yes us, cas and salford all linked, whoever comes up with the best deal wins!
brierley is mates with hardaker, might swing it abit.
cas have eden for full back next year but they may want to put him on the wing too.
league express said other week huby was going but that hasnt happened yet.
you would have thought the mamo signing would have been announced by now but maybe this hardaker move is delaying things

| Ive got a feeling we could see Wardle & Wood to Leeds.....Wardle on a 1 year deal (Newcastle in 201icon_cool.gif
Hardaker to us on a 1 year deal (Going to Penrith in 201icon_cool.gif
Would happily Give Ellis & Wood for Hardaker though
