I haven't spoken to him or his uncle Fred, but looking at the evidence:

1. Signing Broughton (could make a move for Murphy to fullback?)
2. Releasing George and Dawson (would leave us with no backup winger if Grix went)
3. No mention anywhere of us signing a replacement FB
4. Grix gives us additional cover in halves

So, to sum up, unless Widnes or whoever have come up with a better financial offer for Grix which the club cannot afford to turn down, why would we let him go?

I'm happy to trust Baloo's judgement in letting Fergie go and bringing in Bailey if that's what happens. His judgement has been spot on so far.

Can't see any sense in letting Grix go unless (a) he's got an offer from elsewhere he can't refuse or (b) we've got signing up our sleeve that's managed to avoid the gossip pages. Personally I'd like him to stay and I'd be more than happy to see him as our first choice fullback next season

he is contracted for another year so cant see him leaving, provides good cover as a utility back.

Was told by a very good source that Grix is definitely leaving and Eden is coming back... would this move actually be possible? Not sure if I believe it. But the person who told me worked at the Giants this year and usually knows everything that is going on...
