The way he talks about one door shutting and another opening and referring to a 'lad' to me doesn't mean he was talking about the Matagi deal but about another young Aussie half. I very much hope this to be the case anyway. I was majorly hyped about the Hastings signing and am really disappointed we didn't get him because a quality half back is a major, major requirement and they don't come along often.

To be fair he seems to have a good idea on the areas we need to improve on, and they are the players he is wanting to get not just random players because they become free like previous years.

Now this would be a right signing and bodes well for Woolford as should we get Matagi, Uate and Norman it would be a right result.

The more I see of him the more he appears to know what he’s doing and unlike Rick Stone he’s ain’t afraid to sell it to the club and Ken is obviously listening...

just a thought- seeing as he pleaded guilty to drug offences (conviction later overturned on appeal- though not sure how since he plead guilty!) would he get a visa?

Also the other club involved is NB at Newcastle....

Was thinking the same about Matagi's visa as he has served a prison sentence.
