Absolutely love us to get Eastmond but we don't have a chance in hell of getting him. Hes from Saddleworth though and mates with Jordan Turner, so I hear.

Judging by Woolford's comments on the Jackson Hastings pull out news item, i would assume they are bringing over a young Aussie half. “It's naturally a disappointment that we won't be seeing Jackson in a Giants shirt in the forseeable future but as one door closes it gives an opportunity for someone else to step in and we are very close now to making a major move with a lad that’s keen to come over and make a difference for us." The way he talks about one door shutting and another opening and referring to a 'lad' to me doesn't mean he was talking about the Matagi deal but about another young Aussie half. I very much hope this to be the case anyway. I was majorly hyped about the Hastings signing and am really disappointed we didn't get him because a quality half back is a major, major requirement and they don't come along often.

To be fair he seems to have a good idea on the areas we need to improve on, and they are the players he is wanting to get not just random players because they become free like previous years.
