Peats is a downgrade for me, sorry to say. I say stick with Adam and George. Put the money into getting Hardaker. No room at Leeds and still playing really well. Is a risk but wants to be back in Yorkshire and when he is settled and playing he always improves the teams he plays for. If Watson thought he could settle him why not? Him at fullback and Tui in the halves, we would have a formidable team then and still have a quota spot open for any mid season changes needed.

We really don’t need hardaker. We have any number of players who can play in his positions and the last thing we need is a drug taking, trouble causing troubled guy who can’t put his career and family before his bad influence ‘mates’. No thanks.
If Leeds want to sign him and need space on the cap leeming can come back.

Agree that we need a running hooker, we already have no running threat from our half backs, having none from the hooker would be disastrous, we are pedestrian enough going forward as it is, Levi was the livewire in the middle of the pitch.

Why would we want Hardaker. He is well past and has been trouble everywhere he has been. He is also a centre now and rarely plays full back.

I am not a huge fan of Connor as a person but he is a real talent. Him and Lolohea were the two top try assist players in SL last year. They could also both interchange between full back and stand off and with a fully fit Fages at scrum half we would be a lot more creative and a better attacking threat.

I think we just need a 7 to announce tbh. Media and a few ITK at Hull think he's off.

I don't think connor back would be good at all, it's like Russell and Fages doing the same job, Connor and Lolohea do the same job. We need a pacy runner of the ball not yet anotehr organiser/assister, who are they going to assist?!?!

We currently have hill, trout, Wilson, English, rushton, greenwood, ikahihifo, Lawrence, bibby, who can all play prop forward.

Make a bid for Zac Woolford - his dad knows a few people in Huddersfield.
I can't see Woolford getting any game time at Canberra if they have Levi and Starling.

He's a very different hooker than Levi - just a steady dummy half who defends well for 80 minutes - nothing flashy.
