Thanks Danny, you will always be C&G in my eyes and we were lucky enough to get his best years. A change is probably best for both parties - he spent a significant part of last season banned and a new environment, challenge and so on will no doubt do him good and possibly benefit Wakey too. I dare say he will do better there than if he stayed with us, purely because of the challenge. He is a winner and winners rise to the challenge.

Danny is a Fartown legend, one of the best half backs of the modern era and should have played for England on a regular basis. His kicking game is possibly the best in Super League and in his best years he had speed off the mark. He is a true competitor and every team needs a player like that, I'm not sure who will step up to that role. All the best Danny it has been a pleasure to watch you play for the claret and gold.
