170k is the marquee amount for overseas players that counts on the cap. we know barba is getting over 170k as he’s classed as marquee.

Never said he would be a marquee player I was questioning how a few weeks ago Wakeman had to go on Loan to avoid gong over the salery cap and now there is room for Hastings, doesn’t symonds wage still count for this year?

Hastings would appear to have a clean record and the Manly incident shouldn’t make any difference but I would again see the logic in announcing after his Visa is approved if we do sign him.
