Quality player IMO.

Did a terrific job in stepping into Hodgson's boots. And at his best he was a very good player for us indeed. There were some matches where he was unplayable, popping up everywhere and joining the line. On top of that, he seems to be the sort of man who just got on with it - put his heart and soul into it despite the flak and the messing around (like when Brown decided that Greg Eden was the second coming of Billy Slater)

We'll miss him I reckon, more than we expect to.

We missed him most of this season!

But what he brought was unseen by many, kind of like Crabtrees contribution to the team

He followed a top man, in a very difficult position that gets a lot of exposure, He did organise the defence well, and he was pretty sound under the high ball, His running the ball up was just about as poor as it gets, and his 1on1 defence left an awful lot to be desired. That said he was not the worst player in our side by any means.

Fullback was always his best position, right back to his Widnes days, He has done very very well to get another S league club and i wish him well but it was time for him to leave us, we need an all round fullback not just one to organise.

I think the results when he wasn't playing this season speak for themselves. Coincidence or not?? Probably, in my opinion, one of the most under-rated and undervalued member of our squad. (Along with Jodie Broughton the season before!)
Probably not the best fullback in Superleague but really believe his heart was in the right place and he always tried his best.
Spoke to his family after the HKR game (missus & children who confirmed he was going to Wakey) and genuinely got the impression that he was sad to be leaving but it was the right time for a fresh challenge.

The ones who need to look at themselves, are the ones who expressed glee when a player was injured and who expressed "hate" of a player! We all have our preferences but if you cant get behind the team as picked by the coach then obviously, you are not a supporter..

I've criticised a lot of Grix's play in the last two years- and rightly so, but I've also praised and recognised what he brought to the team

He's half a perfect fullback imo
