Lots of ifs and maybes but, if Huddersfield and Castleford both win their next two games (v Hull FC & Leeds and Leeds & Wigan respectively) and St Helens narrowly beat Wigan next week, Huddersfield Giants would start the Semis in first place!

on form that would be about right

Maybe anyone who can't make Hull on Friday night could consider going to cheer Castleford on Thursday night.

We're now in the position of if we win our remaining two games we will at least finish 2nd and get a home tie in the play-offs.

Good position for the Giants to be in. 2 wins and we guarantee a home semi. It will also carry on our good form, don't think we will have a better chance to make the GF.

unbelievable to think that not only could we go into the leeds game with a chance of finishing above them and securing a home semi, but if things go well, a chance of claiming the LLS again!

and to think people had already written leeds' name on all 3 trophies!

Why? To me we look, on paper, like we'll be stronger next season. No one gave us much chance of a Top 4 finish this season, and look at us, so don't go writing off future seasons!

I agree but its getting to this stage in good shape and at the moment we are the team looking fresh and playing well so we really need to grasp the nettle and take advantage of that.

The lack of pre-season games, no World Club Championship and early CC exit are now looking blessings in disguise and this could just be the one season where everything falls into place....lets hope so.
