| Exactly what I said Jools. IT has got be be very easy to do otherwise people just won't. My dad absolutely loved Friday in Warrington and was excited about moving sides to sit with us. I then told him that he has to swap his ticket and his excitement went... because its a ball ache.

| how did everyone feel it went?
despite not having much to sing about i thought the folks at the back did a decent job backing the team but once again we saw that the ones further down weren't prepared to join in, some clapped along but majority were sat with arms crossed all night.
i suppose if we had been winning it might have been different, but all those who were singing their hearts out at warrington didn't fancy it tonight ( sing when were winning?)

| To be honest on the other side I only heard you a couple of times.
Could just about hear the drum.
The sound travelled from the salford fans much better.

| I still think they sit too far back- physics- sound disperses! Sit further forward still under the roof- less sound dispersal before the sound waves hit the field!!!

| I was happy to see a good few fans had moved over, unfortunately as on many occasions in the past, the club tried something new and it was a monumental flop on the field. Meaning the majority won't come back over. I try, as many others do, to do everything that I possibly can to help this club. And its so frustrating to see the team lose when we finally get something like the singers section to work

| Quote meast="meast"i think what he meant daz, was that you can use any ticket for any stand on the gate rather than having to swap the ticket.
we could also do with getting people who sit further down the stand to move back, danril and his mob and the shaw's for example?
also get toddy's to move over and join us.
would be great enough people to re-create an away game.'"
it shows what big crowds we get when you can almost name them all

i agree with this, it always seems that the whenever the club does something the players put a stick in the wheel!
also agree with jools, regarding sitting further down, but as we saw last year in the cup game, people just complained when the people at the back had to move further down.

| I said last night would it be an idea to maybe trial cordoning the back 5 or 6 rows off or the front few to try and compact the crowd more that way rather than from the sides ?

| Might be something to do Daz. Could trial it at the Wigan home game? I thought they ought to have waited for the big push for the idea, until the wigan game.

| wouldn't say i love it jools, they are still a work in progress IMO and are doing OK, but they have got right into the supporting side of things, starting songs up ( singing) they still need to understand when and when not play up, but they are decent lads who support the team
as for complaining, it was a case of it wasn't something we wanted but now they are here, seemingly to stay we have to work with them, as i said they have become passionate fans, whereas at the beginning it was felt they were just going to sit and play.
we could give it a go for the wigan game, if the club could somehow persuade the sleepers further down to go with it?
