I think the major changes at Rovers have gone relatively un-noticed by many. Almost a whole new pack, Weyman, Poore, Costigan, Larroyer and Langley with Josh Hodgson the only one still in there. A new half back pairing with Burns (not playing this week but will in the league) and Keating who are defensively good. It is our back line that we are hoping are stronger with better defensive back rowers and half backs. Cockayne will add a bit more go forward while Dave Hodgson will do what he does best. I personally think Welham has improved on his defence and Liam Salter proved he can stand tall in this league even though he's not got too much bulk yet.

It will be a whole new look Rovers vs a very minimally changed Giants side.

And yes in a trial game I wouldn't doubt both coaches will have a drastic change around of personnel.

would think hull kr are faves to win this game, having already played last week against hull fc.. and bringing over a strong squad with the senior players playing big minutes..

should be a good game but no doubt will be scrappy and with all the changes giants will be making

Rovers bringing 24 players over today according to Sandercock in todays paper, so expect loads of changes from us

Thought we played well today, especially the young lads in that awful weather towards the end! Antonio Kaufusi looks a monster when running the ball in. Bailey played well aswell! Disappointed that Brough got a sin binning because it could of been avoided even if Child was being a clown! Overall great hit out for us and a funny moment from Old boy Greg Eden.

Bloody freezing today! but was quite a feisty game, as is the norm brough and childs just do not get along



didnt think we would win today but we did and was quite pleased with that.

Cudjoe is pure class and showed it everytime he took the ball
Kaufusi had a couple of strong runs but a couple of mistakes, sure is a big lump!
Bailey looks like being a very good signing, fits in well and looks classy
Patrick played in the 2nd row
good to see lunt play some good minutes though he took another knock! ran it off though
Taai got stuck in when he came on.
connor looks like being the next full back for us in the future
