Why? We have a 5 day turn around for thr playoff game and everyone accepts that the playoffs are more important - some fans dont consider the league important. We've earned the right by being the most consistent in the league all season.

There's nothing on the line apart from 2 league points - we dont need them now, we need as fit a squad as possible for next week, if we cant play the youngsters in games like this then when are we supposed to play them?

These kids have been ripping it up in the U19's for the last few months so wont be short of confidence or ability.

Don't understand why this is a disgrace. I think it's a good move by the Giants personally. If you don't play the kids they will eventually leave (look at the Bradford teams of the past?) Besides we have 4 teenagers in the 19 man squad so at least 2 will be playing if not all 4.

It's also good experience for all youngsters playing on Saturday as these guys are the future of our respective clubs. Only thing I am disappointed in is that Kopczak isn't playing and Fielden retired before playing at Odsal one more time

Oh well, still going over to Odslum, probably get wet through with the predicted rain





but it'll be interesting to see how the youngsters get on.
No doubt some of the sky team who defend the like of Lids, Wigan etc doing this kind of thing will have something to say but **** em "Up yours Sky"





Quite glad it's worked out like this, the lads should be all rested, fully fit and rarin to go for the Wigan/Lids game on Thursday.

Shud be a crap night tonight for the Sky cameras with 2 teams apparently playing to lose so they only have to visit little ol Huddersfield in the 1st round of the play offs

Good move from baloo I think! If this is a disgrace what was wigans team last week? We've won the league for the first time in 81 years and giving the lads a well earned rest before the real stuff starts so lighten up a bit and get behind the young uns! Good luck lads!

Its a great move by Baloo, winning the title a week early and giving him the option to maximise the chances of the Giants having a fully fit first team for the play off's.

I paid £20, not unhappy at all Saturday is about singing i the rain, win, lose or draw, we can proudly sing 'we are top of the league' in front of the Bradford fans, worth every penny

personally I think its a good move by baloo given that we have a far more important game 4 days later!
my only problem is that the young lads could be overawed and we get heavily beaten,thus deflating the entire squad,however I am more than confident that the team we play is more than capable of giving Bradford a decent run.

I wonder if sky will be banging on about our "kids" like they do with the likes of wigan leeds saints etc?

don't forget to all congregate together at the side and lets make lots of noise for the lads!
