| I find it hard to understand anyone that disagrees with DGs assessment, perhaps his score of 1/10 is .harsh, but the points made are valid. I for one am concerned. Buying a season ticket is not necessarily value (due to friday/monday matches and holidays I personally will only get to 7-9 home matches). There are plenty decent seats in the stadium so seat renewal deadline is irrelevant. I want to see something to excite me, I am pretty sure there are a lot thinking like that.
So not yet an unmitigated disaster imo, but I await the mitigation with interest.

| Just because we have a lot of fickle fans who won't renew doesn't automatically confirm that last season was totally disastrous.
Good job there are a hard core who will back the club through thick and thin by buying st's,otherwise there wouldn't be a club for the fickles to come back to if the good times returned.

| Well I have renewed today but the reality is that I'm not going to be making anything like every game. I've uhmmed & ahhhed about it, crunched numbers etc and just bought one anyway. I hope they make it worth my while.

| Problem is people want and want now. Look how long it took Warrington to get where they are now-they got there eventually in part because the fans stuck with them. Hull have been trying a lot longer than us to raise themselves out of the "filler" and have just one piece of silverware to show. They are building a good team for next year- fans stuck by them. Those who are expecting overnight success are expecting too much. Three -four years is NOTHING. We won't get there without the true hardcore increasing-paying on the gate doesn't help the club, season tickets are SO important for the club to be able to plan.
I'm not going to dissect the season-done that already

| Not talking about the diehards such as you Durham, Daz, meast etc- many others in here- those of us who remember the fartown days really do know the dark times! When youve waited that long-whats one more year! I mean the new ST holders who bought cheap and expected instantly.

| Best Forward: Eorl 80 minutes Crabtree
Best new forward - Fairbanks - tackle machine for first 2 months.
Best Back/Half-back: Danny Brough
Best new signing:Greg Eden-great talent and looking forward to watching him develop with us - which will include errors too. Great topic for threads too. Think his dive vs wires (?) to keep a ball in play was tremendous - or was it Wigan at home.
Worst new signing: Scott Moore - what were we thinking ?
Best young player(u23): Big G or joe wardle - missed him when he was injured.
Favourite moment: Beating Leeds with 12 men and confirming that I had not imagined the first quarter of the season.
Worst moment: the 6 - 8 weeks were Nathan should have left earlier but hung around and claimed he had found the solution etc etc
overall opinion: - started well again but no plan B. Think a big moment was away at hkr when they showed everyone else how to beat us - just run your big guys down the centre and see how few props we really have.
Marks out of 10 for the season: 6/10

| Season ticket renewed + jnr too.
Where else could we spend Sunday afternoons / friday nights / monday nights drinking over priced warm beer and eating chicken balti pies?
Roll on next season.

| Those cheap tickets might come back to bite us on the ?! How much were the tickets when we came up from the NFP? Our tickets are still cheap, the only reason people are disappointed is because we have higher expectations now. We have some outstanding moments and they definitely represent value compared to other clubs, dont forget we still finished 7th, higher than half the other teams and i would bet our tickets were some of the cheapest. On top of this we are offered the pay monthly at 0% interest offer, cant go wrong, how many people pay £40/50 per month for a phone for 2 years, a season ticket will be this for 4 months and you get your weekly dose of rugby. Cant go wrong!
Saying this i know as much as anyone how hard the times are and how scarce money is, i just couldnt go a year without my fix of highs and lows of rugby.

| 'fro nips, there may be a 0% interest for the instalments option, but there is a £20 admin fee which if you're buying just one equates to over a 20% APR

| At what stage does a season ticket become too expensive for you.
£200 ?
£300 ?
£500 ?
WITH MY PETROL COSTS AND SEASON TICKET the basic cost is £720 regardless of anything else. That almost equates to 2 months spending money.
I cannot justify that to see some of the crap i have had to witness. If i was convinced that i was going to be served something better than the rubbish i have had to put up with i maybe would make the sacrifice. The other option is that i will pick and choose my games

Been said on here before but some of the old timers are the most critical and negative about the team and some of the newer fans are the ones who add to the atmosphere home and away.
Until the clubs fans see themselves as one entity the club as a whole is unlikely to move on at least in the direction everyone old and new wants.
We have loads of families at every game and we need those kids to want to be there for years and years to come not go to another RL team, Town, Leeds Utd or whoever and in someways it is them who will shape the future as the 2,000 odd Fartowners dwindle through old age.
