Saints have played this season with arguably 1 specialist prop (Perry) and a bunch of second rowers and are still 3rd. The attitude is the problem. You were fine at the start of the year, then suddenly went into meltdown? Something happened there. Can't work it out.

It seems many who had a lot more optimism than my realism (branded as negativity) have now started to accept these facts

There are players out there like (to name a few) Eorl/ Broughy / Jerry / Robbo who 100% have the ability but really at the moment seem to have lost the will

That is what puzzles me most !
I worry deeply about it being a squad !

Many on nhere all play different sports as part of teams - but speaking personally -it bloody hurts if I feel I could have done better for my team mates

It doesnt seem to bother the lads at the moment whartever the rehetoric --so whats gone wrong

This is where my previous sympathy for KD wears a little thinner despite him having my utmost gratitude and respect for his efforts to date

Atre they happy its PA?
Is it ba 50-50 split on feelings in the camp (Playing squad)
Unhappy about the selection process /training methods

BUT KEN CAN - AND NOW SHOULD IMO

Internal enquiry - speak to the squad - PA - management -et al on a one to one- get to the root cause (and there surely is one behind the doors) and get a grip

Not just sit on our hands - oh dear its gone wrong - and so Im buggering off!

Get a bloody grip - find out whats caused the malaise and whatever measures and however harsh - sort it !!

If joe public (particularly the faithful) can see something being done and positive action they may feel more willing to part with more for renewing and thats a start as its evident more income is needed and badly

But at the moment it just appears that its turn the other way and the prob will disappear

Right now its apparent by feelings on hear that the "fans" are looking for signs of some real action and leadership -- and that can only come from you

This is no longer a players out of position prob
Its no longer a NB dithering prob
Its no longer a dip in form
Its no longer should we or shouldnt we have bought / sold x y or z

Its something much much deeper surely?

Ken --The reduced price strategy - however much appreciated didnt seem to have the desired return
You want us to show by paying viable ticket prices (no complaints) and sales that we have faith in the club strategy
Then find out the cause / reason for the sharp decline and show us the faithful its being sorted and Im sure most will be there if they can at all afford it
Theres more chance of turning round if Management / Players / and fans are on the same wavelength and in the know

At the moment we are in the dark feeling totally frustrated and even more bemused than you ! and as Daz says asking WHY WHY WHY!
There has to be a real reason ! Please sort it - Please!

we only have crabtree this season who does anything and hes playing big minutes

mason and patrick have been very poor and the other prop spot..well take your pick gilmour, ferguson, faalogo

Excellent post crackerjack, couldn't agree more, a deep seated problem which needs resolving.

Like i said on the Wire site, there was no penetration in the 2nd half, Snow White probably got more off the 7 dwaves than Hudds offered in the 2nd half.

Top post Crackers and i just about agree with every single word of it, now is the time for questions to be asked by soneone upstairs and the answers to be made public to us, the fans, before too many decide to not bother next year, i already know of at least 15 who wont be back next year - and if we all know 15 thats is a hell of a lot of people.

I can actually understand people bailing out (recession, lads without jobs, a team that clearly isn't bothered etc) but I won't be one of them. I'll get my season ticket & follow Fartown home & away. If nothing more than to give Ken a bit of his investment back & to demonstrate my loyalty to the C&G. But that doesn't mean I'm happy about what is going on at the moment. Far from it. But what can a true fan do but support the team?

Well it's up for debate really, but both would be far more suited to second row in my opinion, especially LMS..
