When we had Mick Potter he was open about the fact that he intended to see out his contract with us and then get an NRL job won the back of his experience at Saints and Catalans.
However, no job materialised and he signed for Bradford.
If Brown hasn't been tapped up yet, he may be a little nervous about the prospect of no job coming his way for next year and take what is probably a good offer from Saint Helens.

If St's want Mr Brown they will get him, but as Browny has said they will have to wait until the end of the season. personally i would like to see a role like Shaun McKrays role at Hull to be created so we can at least tempt Browny to stay a little longer, this way we get the use of his contacts an knowledge would be a massive help for baloo down the line.

that said im looking foward to the Baloo era think he will do a good job, done the man hours as assistant so earned his chance. one of my pet hates is when players an ex players step into coaching / developmental roles without having done a aprentaship.

No we won't- Nathan has done a great job but the will he won't he is not good for the squad- even if he accepts a job at saints you can bet there will be a clause to allow him to go if a aus job comes up.

Nathan brown has taken this set off players as far as he can, let him join saints for a new challenge. I would only imagine he'd ever want brough & patrick with him. So baloo may want his own players too and stamp he's own indentity to the squad. Good luck to both parties
