l read it. Look at your fixture list, depending on when they start(after the Saints game) and when they finish (before the Rovers game), there could be 8 league and 2 cup games away from home.

You have some right idiots on here! First of all your stadium is having a proper relay etc and this takes time. Playing any games on it will ruin the work done. This is best done in warmer weather. Why play on it so soon and ruin it and waste the money spent on it? And so Huddersfield are playing at the next best option which has great public transport links to Huddersfield and has a bus stop next to the ground. And maybe its not possible to play the fixtures at another time due to other events and things.

The Shay is owned by Calderdale Council and Fax will not be getting any money as they are tenants. Also the Council probably will use their own Stewards in most cases, as they know the stadium and the system to use etc. Its not exactly rocket science. No doubt if Fax wanted to use the Galpharm the owners of the Galpharm would likely use their own personel. Perhaps people should look at the facts before spouting drivel and negative comments all the time!

Its this small minded thinking by fans of Rugby League that Rugby League is a minority sport. Enjoy the experience of playing a couple of games "On the Road". Its likely a maximum of 20 minutes or so for most fans-hardly getting in a boo about. Union takes games to Towns / Cities hundreds if not thousands of miles away and get bigger crowds than Normal. Rugby League fans just moan and the game loses out due to such thinking.

There can be no doubt of the commitment shown from someone travelling a couple of thousand miles to watch his team, so surely a further 8 miles is not too much to ask, if the flights are already booked. If they aren't then he has an absolute choice if to come or not, again its his choice.

As a fax fan we will make diddly squat from the games, and if they don't clash with our away game I would probably go to a game myself, it will be good to see a decent crowd in the shay.

well ivor --if its whilst we`re repairing our pitch and Fax are away or not playing -my guess is we`d most certainly be one of the teams
for the opposing team ---it wil surely depend on whether the works take place according to programme, brought forward -or delayed as I `m sure our board would like to maximise takings as the supposed "home" team
