Yes Jimmy Johnson was sent off. He was our go to guy for a scrap in those days him and Steve Lyons.

Graham Swale was a winger then , went on to be a loose forward / hooker i think and was probably the dirtiest player to wear the C&G i can remember. ( a true hero in my eyes though

We had a few hero's Jimmy Johnson, Dennis Fitzpatrick, Swazza, Frank Simpson, Joe and Tom Nadiole, Gary Senior to name a few, all could handle themselves

Not sure about that? I've worked at David Browns for the last 30 years and I can't remember him working there but I might be wrong? His brother has always worked there in the Hardening Department and still does to this day.
