Our support in the past was awful and for the size of the town and number of inhabitants it's hardly anything worth shouting about even now. I am very often dissapointed by the general lack of interest in the area and lack of vocal support at matches.

However, you guys getting a place in Super League after being established for all of five minutes was a total disgrace, and events from within your organisation this season have proved beyond doubt that you were nowhere near being ready for Super League. To all the Welsh Rugby league fans out there, I applaud you and hope you carry on but I will never accept Celtic as a proper team or a team that deserved it's place in the elite competition. At least Catalans are in the Rugby League heartland of France and have contributed much to the comp aswell as the Challenge Cup....and what fan doesn't enjoy a weekend in the south of France? bottom of the single division or bottom of two divisions? wow. that explains an average of 600. Tell you what you can use your superleague average of 3,392 in 2000 after 105 years to look down your nose on our level of interest. How does that work for you?
Im just disappointed that a club which has led the way in generating interest from a very low base, something other fans are always attacking you lot for, should be telling us that we have no pride and no interest.

wow living up to your avatar i see. And how do you think catalans had an heartland to be in in the first place? Did it fall from the heavens or was it created by the hard work of pioneers, in a 'shock horror' rugby union area. You cant applaud welsh efforts in one breath and then tell us we are not a 'proper' club in another, this is our team and all your salivating over temporary problems wont alter that fact. Welsh rugby league people are putting their heart and soul into this club. You dont own the game and its not up to you to tell anyone whether they are a 'proper' team what ever the hell is supposed to be anyway.
