i was at a local presentation evening recently and NB was asked directly if Brough was coming. he replied that he would not confirm or deny any deal until it was official as teams still have plenty to play for this season and he wouldnt want to disrupt his or anyone elses team. but when pressed further he then went on to say that generally he looks not only at a players abilities but at the personality and if it will compliment or conflict what he has in the squad.
reading between the lines i thought he was saying Brough is a good player but the man aint right for us.
In my opinion Brown may be able to sort him out and might be worth a gamble.

In your opinion, what type of gamble would be?? He is playing consistently for a team that are 6th in the table. |

No Kear has not done this already! surely you havent forgotten his two game ban imposed by Kear mid way through this season?
Dont get me wrong i think he is one of the best players in super league but his discipline lets him down and i have heard and read that he can be quite a disruptive player to the squad as a whole and the one thing above all else that we have got right this year is that we play like a team.
My opinion is it would be a gamble but one worth taking as i believe NB is the man that would keep him in check.

l guess you think Wakey have done extremely well then this season, especially considering we have played all year with a disruptive player!!!
On a side note, as no answer is forthcoming from PBGIANT, what do you think the 'deal' would consist of?? Money, player exchange or a combination??? Any ideas on the amount of money or potential player exchange??? |
