I don't think Craig Bellamy would do anything if he had Thewlis constantly signing players from Bradford Bulls. There needs to be a major shuffle high up first and foremost. The club is so drab and unappealing to anyone even half tempted to go take in some games, and the signings have been incredibly average from the MD for years.

Could be a smart idea to publicly announce Rick Stones involvement in the club won't be renewed next season though he'll be staying on to finish his contract and put himself out there for future work.
It will
A) Give Ken proper time on who will best fit the club and negotiate terms. (Not a desperate hiring)

B) Give more coaches time to put there name forward.

and

C) Give our players an incentive to put themselves on the map.. The uncertainty of who the coach is should keep them playing for a chance of first team action next year.

Stone signed Mamo and Wakeman, he asks for or players and thewlis goes and signs them, he didn’t ask for Roche, Walne or brough re signing. If your agent is Martin shuttleworth chances are you will be at giants at some time. Those standing up for thewlis need to realise he is holding the club back, he is inept at his job and seems untouchable

I kind of do blame Ken Davy. I’d like to think that if I were him, I could see what’s going on right in front of my face and do something about it.

If what you say is true then Rick stone is a liar.

Rick Stone has to play the club card a little else he will get fired!

Like posts state above, the problem is Thewlis, he seems untouchable (family friend of Davy). Stone has fought to gain some control regards signings etc.

Stone is a good guy and has done a great job turning this club around and getting us into the top 8 last year.

This season has been disappointing so far as has the style of play. I would not call for his head but something needs to happen one way or another.

Tony Smith is an obvious choice if the club decide to go that way. Although any big name target would not turn up for Thewlis to do what he is doing and the club not spend the full salary cap.

I was told he pushed on with the signings of Clough, Ferguson and Gaskell which were moves without any coach input.

All three represented by shuttleworth, young lads in academy been told to get an agent and make sure it’s shuttleworth, that way thewlis gets them to take the deal he wants as shuttleworth is only agent he deals with unless forced to deal with someone else
