Nobody has Brough or Wood included, do we know they are both definitely out? If at least one were available it would make a big difference and give us a backline of established first teamers.I would also like to see Eorl and Rapira split so we have one of them on the pitch through the game which I think will help both in attack and defence.
Whatever the team I hope the fans are behind the team and stick with them IF things don't go well, and remember this is the SECOND game of the season, no time for panic or doom and gloom!

I don't think our fans will be all doom and gloom. It's a long season. Wigan at home isn't easy as it is. I can't wait to see how our players step up and how our coach handles these tough times.
It's somewhat exciting and when we do get our senior players back there going to have some pretty confident young players playing along side them.

Hopefully a short term pain, long term gain.

If we lose on Friday i reckon there will be 'sack the coach' comments popping up again - like last year, some of our lot are right impatient buggers and want a trophy in February !!

I think it's probably best to see what kind of squad we announce before trying to guess a team, BUT, If Broughy isn't 90%+ fit i wouldn't want to risk him and make things worse....we need him for the END of the season not the beginning, all through the season would be nice, but we have to look after him and not risk him.

Be interesting to see the 19 man squad this week !!.

Without wanting to find a scapegoat and point the finger too early, you do have to wonder about the players conditioning and pre-season regime.

It's a nightmare.

Well to be honest unless we are privy to medical records and the details of said conditioning and pre-season regime and then the knowledge, skill and expertise to analyse such, I'd assume its bad luck and trust the management team in their decisions.

Exactly, people within the club i've spoke to have all had positive things to say about John Noonan and his team, maybe the truth is they're crap and the coaches and players are lying and some fans know better through presumptions and guess work !!

We've been lucky for a couple of years now with injuries....obviously at the moment that seems to have caught up on us !!
