How boring is this in your opinion then?

Hubys was a try. Crabtree wasn't in my opinion. We still out played you and deserved the win. Just as today against Wigan we didn't.

The reason for the Giants fading are obvious. They had only 39% possession in the game. This led to the Giants making 341 tackles compared to Wigans 253. They have to start respecting possession more as you cannot beat a side like Wigan if you keep handing over possession.

We actually put in more of an 80 minutte game than at any other time this season.

The problem is our in-game management sucks. We bombed 2 clear cut chances in the first half when we had Wigan on the rack. There are always going to be ebbs and flows in the game. There are always going to be times when you are dominant and times when the other guys have you under the cosh. What we failed to do was turn our advantage into points and prevent Wigan from doing the same.

Wigan simply did the opposite. They created enough chances in a poor first half for them to keep them in the game and then used the possession and territory in the second to gain an advantage.

We also have a general plan of kicking deep and trying to contain the opposition deep

Good plan against the likes of wakey or Widnes but against Wigan or Leeds who can go 80+ m it's just giving possession away

It was a typical Giants display. Until we stop giving silly penalities away, throwing poor passes and dropping the ball as frequently as we do, we'll always struggle to control the game and against the better sides we'll more often than not get found out. It's so frustating as cut out the silly mistakes and ill-discipline and we're not that far away.

That's spot-on. How youse guys failed to score when Bowen had that horrible dropped ball just a few yards out in the first half, I'll never know. I thought we were a bit lucky to go in all square at h-t, but we were good value for the win on the back of that second-half showing.

Castleford fans still not over the defeat we gave them the other week! We were on the end of a few debatable calls v catalans last week you know too

as for this game we had a great chance to go 18-6 up just before half time when wardle broke through and had broughton on his outside but we blew it.... then wigan went and scored



but even at 18-6 up we may not have won as we only do 40mins... 16-0 up v catalans and drew ...another game which should have been over at half time (connor not picking the ball up to score) got to take the chances at this level

Thought we were pretty poor in the first half but much improved in the 2nd which is a turnaround
