We are as good as anyone in the league but not when we only play for 50-60 mins

We haven't played for 80 mins since 2013 a far as I can remember. I'm tired of the same old we get in the Examiner - they tend to use the word 'hopefully' a lot. Need to get the mind in gear from second 1. I remember that first lick and chase from the off v Leeds in the semi at Odsal. That set the tone for the whole game. I'll be looking at the defensive line speed from the off on Friday as it always seems to give a good indication of how we will go. |

Agree about the line speed from kick off and in general. Throwing 3 or even 4 into the tackle from the off and crunching a few bodies can set the tone from the start.
I'd like to see it happen more regularly. |

poor discipline (ferres) and poor tackling (mullally) didnt help on that 18-0 front! |

no wonder he left when canterbury came calling'" Not strictly correct Brearley,Kaufusi was sent to the Bulls because he was unfit the Bulls wanted to sign him but he preferred to fight for his place with us.He did come back fitter and regained his place on merit.Just one other point,Larne Patrick,Jason Chan and Antonio Kaufusi had the same agent,work that one out for yourself. |
