As for the drop goal, I'd have given it so I sympathise massively. I think it drifted to go over the post and that should be given.

Well I've watched about a dozen tv replays of the drop goal and I'm still not certain of whether it went over or not.

Huddersfield had three chances immediately prior to that to seal the deal and Brough screwed up two of them by going early in the count and not standing far enough back. Ultimately - he fluffed it.

One thing I would say though is Bentham was in a great position and Brough had turned away before the ball had finished moving.

Everyone is slagging the ref off for reasons I do not know. Look at his position on the disallowed goal. He was in an excellent position to give a decision. A he had the best view in the whole stadium.

Yes he was in an excellent position and he gave the decision he wanted to give. The one that allowed him to continue his history of costing Huddersfield games with decisions that on review prove to be incorrect but hey never mind everyone makes mistakes. Wouldn't have expected anything else from bentman. Even the penalty he gave saints in front of the sticks at 16-14 was very very dubious as the saints player appeared to throw the ball away quite easily. But as for not going to the screen, obviously cheat cheat cheat from the crowd was the only correct call in that instant!!!
