It helps how your portrayed by Sky as well, every week Hemmings makes a comment about x,y,z travelling army, turned out in good numbers etc, i only saw the replay and not the live game but didnt hear one mention of our support nor did i see many shots of our end and what surprised me the most was you couldnt hear us, it was deafening in there at times

the noise was vibrating off the roof at times,but the problem is again, that they sky microphones are all on the popular side so all you hear is the saints fans,same at wire last week,we made some noise but it didn't come across on tv well.

the claret and gold song took a while to get going but is now a fans favourite,even though many still dont know the correct words

I've watched the match back and Stevo made a comment about your noisy support and how, at that time, it was trying to compete with our rendition of When the Saints. As has been said, the mikes are positioned below the gantry where the Pop side is and that's where all our songs and chants begin and get the noisiest so the away support is always hard pushed to be heard. However, fans like me who actually went to the match heard you loud and clear. The only time you went anything like quiet was towards the end when we ran away with it a bit (and the scoreline in no way reflected the ferocity of the contest IMO). But the flags didnt stop waving and nobody left and I think that was tremendous.

I remember the first time we did that one. There were about 4 of us! Wire away I think it was, a couple of seasons ago.

The commentary box was down the popular side and the mikes above the Saints supporters. I know we out-sung and out-chanted them by a huge margin.
I was really annoyed with how little was made of our support tonight, and no mikes at our end, it was as though we were not going to be able to spoil the party.
Eddie (SKY) mentioned about the Huddersfield supporters setting off earlier to avoid being late at the ticket office, but we were in the ground at 7.30 and the queue for the ticket office was 50 metres long then (Ponner was in it). So it was down to poor distribution and management from Saints.

Some of us have to work until 5 so can't get over any earlier than what we did, hrdly our fault they sold the family tickets from Saints so you had to queue to collect them.

Fantastic to see, hope you can continue to bring numbers. It is an area which I think you have been improving in anyway, but to hear that you took over 2000 is fantastic.

Hopefully those people who aint regulars are encouraged to go to more away games because IMO I enjoy away games more then home ones these days!
