We all got behind the team as usual today but it doesn't look right and we don't look fit organised or to have a plan B so acceptable no it isn't but that doesn't make us less of a supporter for stating the obvious.

I don't understand why people think Brierley can't/isn't a fullback?? Is it not obvious the value of having someone with good hands at fullback is? Have you forgotten about what Brett Hodgson brought to the team? Also, look at Gaz O'Brien, he has been one of Salford's best players after moving from half back to full back.

Briefly will do well at FB, he may take some time, but that will be his best position.

I can live with him at fullback, But at the Giants you have to do well in many positions. We have a very good centre who is at present being turned into a second row. If Brough stays I would see him playing alongside, We have a ready made ball playing LF in Ellis, Fullback is a position that has needed sorting for sometime, Wherever we play them they need to stay there and be given a chance, Normally when we get an injury we have a general move about to get the replacement on.

I have to disagree with you. Assuming you mean Wardle, then I believe he is better at 2nd row with Jake Connor at centre.. Jake has great skills and I've been impressed with him this year. Wardle is tough and aggressive and has always gone good at 2nd row. Ellis is never a loose forward.. We had Chris Bailey to run a ball playing loose role and never used him! With such a light inexperienced pack, we can't be playing ball players at loose.

I know Grix gets a lot of hate, but I think we desperately need him back in the team right now. Brierleys chance will come, we just need some experience on the field

Yes Fair comment mate It was just an opinion, I didn't mean to say Wardle is a poor second row, and in truth there is not a lot of difference these days, Regards Ellis I take your point at the moment, but hopefully things may change soon, Many a average SO has made a good LF.

Wardle has been a really good centre for us for a few years now. But, as a team, I think we are stronger with Connor at centre and Wardle at 2nd row... If we played with a ball playing loose, then i'm sure Ellis could do a job there.. But, we don't play like that, and haven't done for a long time now. Pretty sure Brown used to play there a fair bit... Chris Bailey was the perfect ball playing loose, but we completely wasted his talent unfortunately.

wardle is def a future 2nd rower, being rushed into it a little due to ferres.

if connor could improve his defence he could make the centre spot his own but isnt doing so i feel we need a new centre for next season if we have money left in the pot.

ellis is fine at stand off with brough for me, and brierley chiming in at the back but people cant be d to wait for this

brearley we need a centre or 2nd rower ASAP i think brierley is our new full back dont think we will see grix again . as for connor he could be a good loose forward its hard to say he as very good skill sets but lacks pace for me at centre and as you say his defence can be a bit iffy but he is still quite young its up to him like every player in every sport to do the hard work . Look at gerry he had issues a couple of years ago look at him now one of the best wings in the game

We sign good players and turn them into bad ones. Bailey and Broughton are two that come to mind that were never given a fair crack of the whip and in my opinion, and when they did play we never played to their strenghts. Broughton's speed was never utilised , Murphy is a good honest pro but no-one can tell me he is of super league quality? Which other team would he get into, and thats not having a bash at Murphy , its giving an opinion. Bailey was a ball playing loose forward, not, nor never would be a hooker so why play him there? Huby offloaded for fun at Cas, can probably count on two hands the offloads he's done while he's here. Its all down to the coaching and instructions given out . So with that in mind , me thinks it time to call a cab for Anderson.

We have a great second rower coming through in Oli Roberts IMO. A good line runner and could get much better. A solid tackler too.

People's memories are failing them a little, Bailey was OK but some people are making him out to be a Harlem globetrotter or something. And bad players into good? Murphy's having his first bad season since joining us and all of a sudden he's crap!? Broughton wanted a guarantee of first team rugby, we couldn't give it, ill admit he was under used but murph was in great form.

This makes me laugh. People imagine a player was far better with a previous club without any actual factual knowledge. Huby made 43 offloads in 2013 and 38 in 2014 for Cas. in 2015 he made 44 for the Giants so we are clearly coaching offloading out of him. Try researching before making comments.

Definitely agree with this. He's gone really well in every game he's played.
