I really enjoyed it today. It rates right up there with the Stains semi and was nearly as good as the thumping we gave the Whinos at the Odslum.
Hope they release a DVD, the usual tenner for whoever comes up with a copy.

Great performance in defence and another 2 points, but early days and if we saying the same thing after GF and C/Cup then would be delighted.

Long Long season and feet firmly on the ground. Played 2 of the so called bigger clubs so far and only 20 points scored against us is good going.

3 games 6 points, onto Wakefield next week and let's hope for an improved performance again.

It may have been 100% effort but there is still a lot of room for improvement.

Our error count and completion rate in the first 20 minutes was not good. Some poor passing from Dummy half to first reciever put us under some pressure.

Too often we got caught out on the last kick and just hacked it forward. God pressure from Wigan was the cause.

I was also a bit disappointed that we did not push up in defence as much as we could. Sometimes we seemed to sit back to maintain the line but it invited pressure.
I noticed that on two occasions Wigan spilled the ball backwards and whilst the ball was rolling loose not one Giant went to put pressure on the Wigan player trying to get the ball.

Whilst it was great win there is definite room for improvement and that is the biggset positive for today. We can still get better.

some of the problems with the kicking was due to wigan putting pressure on broughy though, you have to give them credit for that surely?

I do but all teams look to put pressure on the kicker, I honestly don't expect it to be 'pressureless' that's why it's an area for improvement.

It's a great 2 points today against a really good team, but we have a number of areas we need to improve, as every team does - we're in February.

Here we go again. The same fans complaining that we can't see out the season are the same fans bitching we're not perfect in Feb. 3 games. 100%. Lots of room for improvement. That's a great position to be in.

defensively we are looking good and our attack has plenty of areas to improve on and when it does it will be bloody awesome to watch us !!

Superb result today - effort was there in spades. Given our high error rate and the subsequent pressure from the Wigan attack that we had to endure a fantastic team effort.

Agree that we have lots to improve on - but hey - played 3 - won 3 - and beaten two top 4 sides within that and only conceeding an average 6.666 points per game - WOW!!!

Special mention to Brett Ferres - awesome throughout and just shading a superb performance from Big Eorl who was also immense and changed the game when he came on.
