Very good player - never doubted his application to the cause, and has left plenty of memories especially his clash with Ryan Bailey in our win at Leeds.

Now chosen to leave - and club have done right thing as now it is known he wants away there is little point in prolonging it. Giants will go on from here.

He HAS attracted sydney- shame he didn't attract them 5 months ago- we may then have had the bit of extra we needed to get the half back we wanted.
As for the tax changes- those were known about at the end of 2010 before LOD joined us- I remember reading an article which specifically referred to him and the fact that his agent had contacted the giants about a renegotiation as a result- so that excuse doesn't wash.

I can only remember him playing three REALLY good games for us in the last two years and he'll go down in history as the only player to be owned by Ryan Bailey in a lot of RL supporters eyes.
I can appreciate him for the player he is- but not for what he's given to the giants. He hasn't given us the time.

Every game LOD played for us he made an impact whether that was his work rate or his presence .

The issues of his finances, timing, motivation for playing , time on the pitch should be left on the other thread where they belong.

Well said. Quality player who I'm glad I had the privilege to watch. If he had an issue with the club then that is the clubs business. However since the club seems happy with the outcome then that's good enough for me.

LO'D was class. When he was on the pitch giving it full beans the rest of the team followed his lead. I think Griffin in particular got a lot from LO'D in the season they were both with us and all the forwards had to measure up when he was on the field because he was an absolute workaholic.

Cant argue with the quality he showed when he did play, just a shame we didnt get to see it much - he would have been up there with the best forwards in the league if he was fully fit !

I thought he was quality, the first win at Leeds a couple of season's ago will always live in my memory.

Jools you dont really expect LOD to go to the papers and tell the real reasons he wanted to leave do you, but i think he will tell it to the Aussie press.

Well did we miss him or not? Didn't appear so.
