| If Fartown announce Hardacre as a big signing I am sending my ST right back to them,we have showed that we as a small club could humiliate hardacre,so for them now to say he is our saviour heading to trophies,it's just taking the pish out of our small but loyal fan base. SKD knows this.
Better players coming out of Huddersfield amateur RL,we all know there is so much potential talent coming out of Huddersfield, just got to keep pushing forward on that score.

| Would be a fantastic signing and improve our starting 13 no end. Some didn't want Brough because of his supposed bad boy character and look how he's gone on since he's been here.

No way - Hardacre had a good spell, but now he is going one way and that is down.
Broughy keeps consistent form year on year, how lucky we are to have a dedicated player like him.

I'll be throwing mine away if we let him go to Cas or Salford and we end up with the 3 e Bradford signings and that's it.
If that's the case we will be in middle 8s most likely bottom of the league and laughing stocks for a 2nd time on the trot. Thin as hell squad no quality added and keep going backwards.

I'd love him to go to Cas or anywhere, show us where we went wrong - when you leave Leeds in Yorkshire there is no where else to go and that is down.

| So it comes down to this, how can we replace the best full back we ever had - Grix.
Just 3 years to wait and he will be back, then we move on.

| YEP claiming we're favourites and should know next week. I for one will welcome him.
Brough was a nightmare before he came to us at a similar age and I think coming here would be the right move.
Going to Cas he's got Chase, Eden and a few others known for acting the goat.
Salford you've got Johnson, Carney etc known for the partying.
Ryan Brierley his closest friend here has a great work ethic and can hopefully rub off on him.

No it's not. Has said that despite rumours that he might end up staying at Leeds, that he is still expected to leave and a deal hopefully finialised in the next 7 days.

I don't recall brough being a homophobe, assaulting a student or misbehaving whilst on international duty.
Brough (and sculthorpe) was suspended by Wakey once for a couple of weeks- reason unknown. There have been rumours but nothing more over alleged incident.. Brough wasn't a "nightmare" other than when he got frustrated on the pitch- something he still does!
Plenty of players like a drink, I'm sure some overindulge- don't we all occasionally! But with hardaker it appears to have lead to violent behaviour. Different gravy.

| If we can get Hardaker here on a deal Rick Stone feels is good value then we have to try do it.
It is Rick's job then to look after him and keep in on the straight and narrow. He has developed players throughout his career and obviously thinks this deal maybe worth doing.
To not want a player of that ability level at our club is absolutely ludicrous.

| Well opinion is certainly split on here, personally I think Hardaker could be a good signing if we can get him to do what he does best on the field and curb his off field antics. We have posters threatening to relinquish there season tickets whatever the outcome, may I relate a tale from long ago. My Great Uncle Harry was a long time Town season ticket holder and had followed them since the 1920's, funnily enough his wife my Great aunt Mary was a long standing member at Fartown, anyway, Uncle Harry was upset at what he thought was a lack of ambition by the Town board as was of the opinion that Bill Shankly should have been given more backing, so when the young superstar Dennis Law was attracting the attention of the bigger clubs, he said if Town sold Law he would never go to Leeds Road again, when the inevitable happened he threw his season ticket on the fire and true to his word he didn't set foot inside the ground again, he was very stubborn, I tried to get him to do with me a few times but he refused, saddened him never to go again but he stood by his decision. so guys whatever happens with the Hardaker saga step back and think do you really want to miss out on watching our beloved team, times have been tough this last year for the club, we need all the support we can get, remember the old maxim "United we stand, Divided we fall"

| Don't think there are many on here "or off " that don't recognise Hardaker's class on the field, and his off field problems are of a different nature to any that Brough once had. Brough has turned out to be our best signing in many a year, and if he still has any issue's they have not interfered with his on field performances over much.
Hardaker seems to be one of those people who are naturally attracted to trouble ( maybe a bit unfair ) He would add more to our team than any player we have signed since Brough. As Jools has said though is it worth the risk and if he is best mates with Brierley, which one would influence the other the most, It's possible we could ruin another player with massive potential.
I would suggest trying very hard to sign Hardaker, but he would only be getting a 1 year contract, with a promise of more if and when he proves his career is important enough for him to want to make the best of his talent. Brough has never let the club down and it's quite possible Hardaker could just sort himself out, But if he wasn't happy with those terms I would be saying , Good luck and Goodbye. Then i would be taking a long hard look in the lower comps in Oz , There is talent to be had, you need to go and find it and then coach it, not expect it to work miracles.
