| Those who have been critical of woody of late - I thought he had a great game yesterday - set up some fabulous breaks. In fact I thought our two hookers were the best players on the pitch.

We did, and you accepted my reasons, but the fact you were rallying the troops on your board to take the pee out of our reason's wasn't called for....i dont have an issue with you just you're double standards !!
As for the game ......i wish we had got out of 3rd gear and put 100+ on them, maybe that would have shut the mouths up once and for all...they still wont accept we're better than them on and off the field.
They are an awful team who are pretty clueless in attack, woeful in defence and half of them look like they were leaving next week with their CBA attitude.
Robbo and Ferres ripped them a new one yesterday and i thought Kyle Wood had a decent game too, We've still a bit to do in defence but to go away from home and score 66 against anyone is good.

| I think that's a little unfair Daz. I wouldn't say the Bradford team had a CBA attitude- I thought they showed guts and determination for the full 80. Given their circumstances both in terms of not knowing what their futures hold and being down to bare bones in terms of squad numbers I thought they showed plenty of spirit.
It was interesting that all the Bradford players took time to shake hands and chat to kopczak - they obviously don't have a problem with his decision like the fans!

| Just watch the SLTV highlights. All you can hear is some screechy Bradford woman who sounds like a right chav and some miserable sounding bloke shouting forward! Even when we throw a dummy! Lol.
Some beautiful passing from woody and robbo.

| seems churlish to pick criticism after winning 66 to 18 BUT i was really dissappointed by yesterday.
Would a Leeds , Wigan or Bradford in their day have let a team off as bad as Bradford yesterday off the way the Giants did.
WE lack a ruthless streak as well as the concentration necessary to be a trophy winning team,
WE could have won that game 80 points to 6. A really good team would have done.
For me everything bad was summed up in a 10 minute spell in the second half
Grix throws a 30 yard pass to no one in our 20.
Taai falls asleep and lets a 10 stone kid flatten him when scoring a try
Brough kicks for touch and fails ( only to be saved by the Bulls player knocking on).
Mistakes like this show the lack of concentration and ability to focus for a full 80 minutes.
Fooey and Taai jointly giving away 3 penalties in a row towards the end for lying on, Broughton committing a profesional foul on George when if he let him play the ball we would have just picked it up ( how he was not sin binned is beyond me).
RL is as much about your head as your body. Yesterday said to me that the head is not yet ready to move on to winning things.
I hope that the strategy at the minute of getting up just for the big games Leeds and Wigan and being complacent in the other games HKR and Widnes does not come back to bite us on the arris

| Durham. To put the result in perspective, the score line was our best Superleague result against the Bulls.

| Durham - no we didn't play with the same intensity as we did at Wigan or against Leeds - but we didn't need to to win very comfortably. it's been shown (eg wire, Wigan) that playing at a high intensity all season doesn't pay off when it counts - we could have switched off after going 30 up but we didn't. We made some mistakes (taai's reaction showed how furious he was with himself) but that's to be expected. No performance will be flawless so the odd missed kick or wayward pass happens to the best teams.

| agree with both jools and durham, yes we were very poor at times and a bit lax, but as jools says we didn't need to be on top of our game, bradford were simply awful, just awful. i said in a previous post that against a half decent team ( anybody but london and bradford) we would have struggled to win that game.
we do, and we will improve our concentration against the good teams hopefully, but we only missed 10 tackles in the game and showed some ruthlesness in their '20. no point going at full pelt when the game is already won and having nowt left for the end of the season.

| I get really fed up with people saying that we don't put teams to the sword like the 'top' teams do [not solely directed at you, Durham, there are plenty of them].
Last season we scored more points than any other SL team - and just for the record, that includes all the 'top' teams which put lesser teams to the sword.
If you can't try something different when you're 40 points up, when can you try it?
Yes, if we'd played like that against St Helens we would have got beaten. But would we have played like that?

Just watched that, can't believe how many times I heard "forward" it must have been on every pass we made!!! And this coming from the team that invented the forward pass in Robbie Paul's playing days.

| hard to moan after such an easy victory but can see where durham is coming from, we do sometimes lack concentration for the full 80minutes and it can cost us, we saw it last season..for example away at hull kr when we were cruising and ended up losing, cruising against castleford at home then let them back in the game.
then again this season its come to the fore again against hull kr and widnes when in a winning position.
just a slight area of concern that so far we are showing glimpses of again this season.

It is not aboit scoring points it is about the ability to play at intensity and concentrate for 80 minutes.
We often talk about how Australia are better than England because they play at a high intensity week after week and can maintain that concentration in the big games.
How many times have we seen England beating Australi and then to lose it in the last seconds or 10 minutes of a game because someone switches off and makes a mistake.
Against Leeds we were the better team all the way through but when it went to 12 a piece we some how managed to let them have 3 attempts at a drop goal in the last two minutes.
That is the difference between a team that will win things and one that may just end up coming up short.
I would much rather we maintain concentration and keep the other team scoreless than try things and maybe get 50 points.
Do our players have the ability to play 4 games at the end of the season with 100% concentration and win at OT.
As good as we are and as good as we can get up for a one off big game i would like us to play 4 consecutive games with real intensity and concentration.
