No one is disputing what Wigan won !!

You came on here spouting off that we are not a threat to Wigan and if Wigan want to beat us they can do - if they lose to us it's because they 'couldn't be bothered to beat us ' or some other kind of bullcrap.

Just because we didn't win the GF doesn't mean we aren't a threat but you carry on banging you're excuses in and making yourself look silly, which, even to your own fans, you are doing !!

No-one is disagreeing with these points. It's the "Huddersfield aren't a genuine threat" bit that no-one can understand. Huddersfield are in the same position we were just one season ago; LLS winners having lost a very close playoff. You can say you don't think they will win anything, but that is just a hunch. Logic and the facts of last seasons performance suggest that they ARE a GENUINE threat. Come on - just admit that you are wrong on this point and we can all move on.

People are entitled to their opinons as am I, whether they support the same club as me or not, I'm not the sort of poster who'll try to belittle or name call.

Refer to your opening post and you will see that you are doing what you say you are not!!! Im a wigan fan and if you cut me open ill bleed cherry and white, but to write what you did is arrogant and extremely biased. Huddersfield were the most improved side in 2013 for me, and last year will certainly not have dented the confidence going into 2014. A league leaders shield is not to be over looked as it warrants the tag of most consistant side of the campaign. Back in the old day they would have been champions - And deservedly so. I hope we win on Friday night as confidence is key for us in going over to New Zeland and Sydney, if we lose on Friday it wont be for the lack of trying.

I can't believe what I have read on this thread from LSOW, I am embarrassed to support the same club as him/her.

Hudds have strengthened again and were a big threat last year, we had our toughest game of the playoffs against them. This Friday should be a cracker, whichever pack gets on top of the other should really win the game, can't wait to see Scott Taylor vs Eorl Crabtree, I think they will both be in the England squad at the end of the season.

What have I said that's so embarrassing to the club exactly or Wigan supporters?

Really looking forward to this game. I think it will be really physical and really close. I just think that Wakefield cancellation is going to cost us in sharpness and match fitness, especially in the last 10mins and therefore my head says despite Wigan possibly having the World Club Challenge as a distraction, they'll just edge this.
Great game for Super League to start the season with, let's hope it's a cracker and it should be no surprise to anyone if we come away with a win.
