i've not got mine yet....still debating whether to renew or not due to my finances.
Paul, i understand your frustrations pal and it does grate with me too how some of our fans seem to be less tolerant than other clubs but i think the numbers sold this year have to be put into context.

Last year's performance and the price hike will certainly not have helped as a lot of our newer fans came on board on the back of the club pushing for honours and cheap season tickets deals - the trophies haven't come and the price has gone up so maybe some of the newer fans may have decided to not bother as they haven't got what they came for in that sense.
Plus those with families are having to fork out twice, maybe 3 times as much as last year and maybe have decided the spare cash wont stretch that far this time.
And to me, the off field debacles will also have contributed to some not renewing, having lost confidence in the club as a whole........it is a massive problem at the moment and its a huge shame for the hard work thats gone into the club in the last few years...but if people aren't getting value for money then i cant blame them for not renewing.
Think we needed a big marquee signing this off season to whet the appetite but that aint happening.

Daz,I knew there would be some who might be offended by my comments,but this is summat I feel strongly about.

After all Sir Ken fair gave the ST's away last time,so where is the loyalty now being reciprocated back to our chairman.

I know you do mate, and i agree to point but thats partly what i was saying .......they came to watch a cup final/grand final challenging team on the back of cheap deals - the trophies didnt come, the price went up and they have probably disappeared again till the next big game, in a way i dont expect loyalty from those type as they came along when the good times were rolling and i guess have no real loyalty to the club and was something to do on a sunday afternoon.

ATEOTD we dont know who has or hasn't renewed and their reasons why but like you its Ken i feel sorry for.

I don't regard myself has somehow superior to any other fan,just find it annoying that so many choose to withdraw their support,I mean bl**dy hell,we made a semi final and reached the play offs,what would happen if we did have a truly bad season.

Renewed early doors,renewed the wifes' too,suppose it beats kissing her goodbye every other sunday.Can't understand how so many (4,200) failing to renew I expected a few but not this many.

Last year we did sell maybe 2000 more tickets- maybe they haven't renewed----but the other 2-3000 who haven't are past ticket holders who have been so for a number of years and that is plain disappointing.

Will be renewing mine and the kids x 3 but when that will be who knows. Xmas just round the corner and haven't got a spare £350 lying round just now.

Said numerous times the club needs to win something to get the fans in and win something fast.

Some players back end of last season couldn't be d and looks like rubbed off on the fans now, some will renew, some cant afford and some cannot be bothered after last seasons ending.

Whatever the reason I won't knock any of them can understand all views, maybe the club will extend the offer if not will be a little longer before save up and renew, other priorities above at the moment.

No-one can knock anyone else unless they are offering to buy tickets for them, people all have different situations and some are in dire straits, others prefer a round of golf to frustrate them rather than the Gianta if some games last season owt to go by.

So to all who renewed well done and will be joining you when money less tight but to all who haven't renewed I understand fully

just reading on here and it seems hardly any of the posters on here have renewed so the figure might not be far wrong.

marketing needs to be done (started a topic on this) but it may be too late... wouldnt surprise if the deadline gets extended and some more marketing gets done

I've renewed mine, but I can understand why plenty have not done. I know many people who say they won't be renewing, the doubling in price being the main reason. I know we couldn't continue to keep such low season ticket prices, but perhaps £50 increase this season and another £50 next season would have been less destructive to our supporter base.

Hope this figure is wrong but I'm not surprised huge gamble to give them away last year and the management of the club last season was just a shambles. Will Anderson turn things round I for one don't think he's the man hope I'm wrong but selling Eden is not good in my view

Perhaps selling eden was necessary to make up for the fact that folk have not bought their season tickets!
