| I think we laid on just as much to be fair. Saints were lucky not to go to 12 for Persistant high shots though.
I want to know how being knocked unconscious counts as having played at the ball though!

| Both teams were allowed to lie on too long. At least it was consistent.
Looking forward to seeing how many of the trys actually were trys later on Sky. I think there were question marks on all three of Sts and two of Giants !
It was a good game and won by a conversion that hit both posts and the crossbar before going over !

| The way in which Brough weaved in & out of Saints' backtracking defenders to hold the play up long enough for our support players to get into postion to score the 3rd try was nothing short of brilliant.

| How long have we had to sit (or stand) over the years and watch other clubs score tries like this against us at crucial times ? It's out of this world that we can now do it to teams like Saints and long may it continue. Danny Brough...Is he even human? Made my weekend.

Black Backgrounds/Statler.gif Run leroy , run !.... And he did - twice - and we partied hard...:Black Backgrounds/Statler.gif |

| Very proud of the lads.
Besides the above mention stars, thought our team defence was great today. Withstood a lot of saints battering, and their tries were some individual errors/ misjudgements.
Great defence.
Btw saw mason pregame looking pretty fed up.

I saw Brown discussing it with the ref who seemed to indicate that Wardle put his hand up and it went straight through and hit him in the mush. So he may have played at it. At the time though i thought it was a bad call.

| We had Brough and Robbo really stand up and direct the team today and then we had fizzers like Eden with his unshakeable confidence and unpredictability. He made some errors today but the errors were born of inexperience combined with high confidence and I think in the long term as he gains experience he will become a hell of a player.
We lacked a little fizz up front IMO but that will come when LO'D and Doof are back in the fold.
Mase will be a little peeved at missing out no doubt but I thought Walker did well. Just needs to speed into the line a bit more, he stutters into it sometimes.

| when Broughy was shaping to throw it to Grix my mate was screaming ..'no, dont F*****g pass it' .......needless to say he was wrong a few seconds later...........superb try and what a phenomenal conversion.
must say the Saints lot in the gas club after were very very gracious in defeat and we both admitted that the best team lost and that Brough was the only difference today !!

| Mason fed up = not playing against his former team. Mason will be back next week. We have played well today and a great effort from the lads.

| thought they all put a shift in yesterday, yet again though i heard calls for eden to be dropped after another bad mistake, yet like danril says the guy doesn't let his head go down, instead he wants the ball to make amends, ridiculous that some people can berate a young kid like this trying to make his way in the game.
anyway we know what we are going to get from robinson, the guy is an absolute warrior! and in my eyes the one player we'd miss most. also i thought brough's defence has improved a lot this year, he was all over the place at times!

| thought the last pass was line ball myself, but the lomax try never a try at all, 2 officials in attendance and still gave it very poor from the pair of them.

| Lomax "old manned" the ref there by jumping up & celebrating. The linesman didn't run into the in goal but was over ruled. From the replay it's plain it was a no try. Clever play by Lomax that.
TBH, from where I was sitting I thought Grixy's pass was a mile forward in real time, but watching it back it looks O.K.
