Will you get a lump in your throat when abide with me is sung? it will probably be with brass band accompaniment. I am just over 50 but have loved brass band music scince i was 5. of course i did play in a band.
playing any brass instrument is a fine art as is playing most musical instruments and singing so i suggest hate it or LOVE it, just endure with respect or enjoy with admiration. |

It's actually a very good line up IMO.
The entertainment is traditional and different to the entertainment in the Grand Final, where they go for more modern bands, like Scouting for Girls last year.
At Wembley, people like the classical music, and brass bands despite sounding really old fashioned always go down well and add to the sense of occasion. I'm looking forward to seeing them.
