id probably rest hill leutele hewitt and leroy also, that team is still strong enough to win. Id let AOB play big minutes using levi only if needed.

Its finding that balance between resting players & being over confident, especially considering Wakefield are flying high at the moment & will fancy their chances to turn us over.

You could probably play your reserves on Friday with the ref being one of your ex academy players.

I don’t think it really matters though- we have a home tie to start with regardless of whether we win on Friday. then are going to have to go away to wigan or saints. Then will likely get the other IF we win that one.

Watson has said he will rest some of the middles tomorrow given the quick turnaround.

Oh I really do hope Cas beat Leeds as salford would have to go to Catalan then regardless and playing a weakened team could really spoil their momentum. How funny that would be.

It’s irrelevant to us really and I think we will go into it a bit half hearted not wanting to get injured or banned.

A really strange game- but I had a feeling it would be. Players in the squad we haven’t seen for a while, and then towards the end Watson took off Levi, tui, leutele, etc and we were playing an entirely different look team.
Can absolutely understand why though. Playoffs are more important than this nothing game against a nothing team- but nice to keep that home win record going a bit longer!
