| Murphy, Wardle, Cudjoe all available with potentially Ferguson.
I would replace both our centres personally as I think this seems to be our weakest position at the moment. Mamo has done a good job but isnt really a centre for me. Depends also if Mellors knock keeps him out but id be tempted to go withJerry
Leroy - Brings the best out of Jerry and is head and shoulders above Gaskell.
Wardle - I just think we saw from the Widnes game that he is a made centre with great handling skills and a real threat in attack. However, if we think he HAS signed for Cas then I wouldnt play him and let him help the u19s make the top 4 instead, which they now have a good chance to do. If he hasnn't though the game time and faith could encourage him to sign like with English.
Mamo/Mcintosh - Im not sure who I would pick at the moment as Mamo can be very vulnerable but is more of a winger for me.

On current form Roberts would not make the team for me he might have had a great World Cup but his form this season and the OPTA stats back it up, has been well below par.
Changes in the back line are also tricky if it’s true that Leroy was good to go but said no on Friday then Gaskell should retain his place he did nothing wrong against Salford and do you throw a confessed ‘underdone’ Leroy in to a cup 1/4 final against a team that will spoil and play physically on the edge ?
I agree with the Wardle thoughts leave him out if he’s not signing a new contract, unless he genuinely hasn’t made up his mind, but no good playing what you can’t have if he’s leaving. Also Joe’s started to pick up a lot of injuries at Newcastle and Cas too so it’s not as if whoever signs Jake is not to an extent ‘rolling the dice’. His record of getting on the field ain’t that good. Could be only one more bad injury off being finished. I thought he was unlucky to get three matches as I’ve seen other forms of that tackle go unpunished other than the ‘bin’ hence why I’d put him straight back in.
Mamo over Darnell for me as he has the edge on pace and in a close match could go 80/90 yards off an error or a created gap and not get caught.
Not sure Ta’ai will be fit his knee didn’t look good on Friday night which would be a big blow.
Simply put we again need to front up but play our more expansive game on our wider field as the narrow field at Salford did neither team a favour and Broughy needs to kick the ball and keep it in play as their big forwards like Salford’s tire if they have to keep ‘carting ‘ the ball from deep in their own half

| Leroy has to play-not just because he’s a much better centre than any other player we have but he’s our captain and because he’s the best partner for Jerry and brings out HIS best.
I personally can’t blame Leroy for wanting a “home” fixture as his return when he’s been out so long.
Agree on wardle- if he’s definitely going then don’t play him. We have to do what’s best for the team going forward- and on that basis for me we also play Darnell not Mamo.

| Yeah Leroy has to play. If he doesn't play against Cats do when then say we have a tough away fixture at Leeds so hell have to wait longer? Now is definitely the right time.

I very much doubt we would do that against a big Catalans pack.

| turners played loose forward on a few occasions at his past clubs and his probably stronger and bigger then Roberts Mellor and Murphy who did a great job in the pack the other week

We need to keep Broughy and Turner in the halves together, its going well. Gaskell isnt good enough for me, he should be a cover player.

We beat Wakefield who’s pack is as big as Catalans if not bigger with a smaller but faster pack and a kicking game that meant they had to start from their own 20 which took away their energy. Same worked at Salford on Friday so why change it ??
Cats want us to get in a messy forward battle so they can spoil, frustrate and slow down the game. I could almost write the after match report now if we do.
Why would we take Turner out of the halves ?? We have looked far more dangerous and expansive since we put him there and more likely to score.

agree about roberts, a shadow of what we have seen before this season, maybe the world cup took its toll and he needs a break to freshen up or maybe he has got his new contract and just happy to coast along!
hard one with cudjoe, all the games are big ones now and he wont be match fit but he is our captain and he will help mcgillvary get involved more regarding scoring tries.
id like to see mamo back on the wing too, hes not a centre, cant pass.

| we also dont want to be faffing about changing half backs again!!! my god we have had enough of that by now
turner and brough doing fine, let them progress.
be good to have murphy back in the second row, hes been wanting to test himself in the pack for a long time now and hes a big lad, think he weighs 16 stone, doesnt look it, but when he runs the ball back as a winger he does make inroads..... but now we are left with only mcgillvary who can make inroads bringing the ball back, we need to rectify this for next season bring a new strong back in

| Why on earth would we want to move a player who is playing well in the halves into the second row?! We have won 4 games on the trot since Turner moved to halfback and it's the real find of the season for me.

| Hello Giants fans.both of our teams are now playing a lot better. It will be interesting to see whether Remy Casty, who played his best Game for 5 years against Leeds last week will again be rested in the Cup. Personally I would much rather we missed the middle eights than had a good cup run.See you on 15th run when I shall probably once again be the only visiting fan
