| What does everyone think about the suggestion in some quarters of Brierley on the move. I would be dismayed if it does happen, not done a massive amount wrong, Stone even said it was a close thing to be bringing Brough back in when he did. Not that I'm suggesting hes better than Brough though.
His backing up is second to none at the club and his speed must be on a par with any here. I feel hes far too good a player to be letting go and I hope its just rumour talk. The disillusionment I felt with the way we handled the Broughton situation then proceeded to bring in Ormsby who is inferior IMHO, I just couldn't understand it. But I suppose theres bigger things to be sorted out just yet and things will be clearer after.

| Stone said when questioned he thinks Brierley is too weak. I do peronally think he will be going at the end of the year as if i was him I would request to leave as he cant do right from wrong here. Yes Ellis maybe stronger but Brierley is quicker, fitter, better support play and enthusiastic. Ellis is overweight, slow and rubbish in defence. ATM Ellis is mid level championship material. Sammut at Workington is far better than Ellis.

| Brierley left Leigh to play in SL, looks like his old team will replace his new team, how ironic. The way Ridyard played on Saturday we could take Brough as Riddys understudy.Charlie knows.

| no one knows till we know what division we will be playing in
stone has his own ideas about the team going forward, brierley wasnt stones signing
brierley in for ellis for me at half back, if not put him at full back... but looks like that experiment has been abandoned for now.... no time for experiments though!

| I would like us to retain him, he has got a great future, has shown some good stuff in the few games he's played, but he's also shown some weaknesses, Despite the clamour for him to play, if he is staying then i would rather he work on his weaknesses now ready for next season when, hopefully he can make a bigger impact.
But if RS is going to turn things around then he has to make his decisions on who he thinks can do a job for him and not have the fans on his back everytime they don't agree with a decision.

| Quite honestly IMO the whole procedure has been a circus -and not for the first time
He was a half back when he went on our shopping list -but with the idea -and backing of several on here that we could convert him into a full back
but he didnt get a regular birth there -or in his former position and been a spectator
Now Im told the new coach has doubts about where he fits in -and as he hasnt been playing regularly probably is so p---d off hell be one of those touted around whether we flop down or not
Really what was the point
It hints at the previous Leeds scenario that if you can afford to -- buy good players so your rivals cant get em
If we had some strategy in place -its hard to spot it !

I had doubts about whether he would fit in, in SL, but don't reckon he has fully had the chance to prove it yet.
Anderson and Purtill said they were considering him as a full back, for next season. (the Huddersfield Anderson, and when Purtill was at huddersfield, that is!)

cant cut it?? based on a few games in super league! in different positions
said when he signed, long term project and needs time
whether he gets it now is another matter as we have a different coach not with different ideas on things
