| Let the banter begin
Ley are a physical side, our 'nice guy' (not my words) packmen are going to have to front up.
Gareth Hock was KR's best player, they didn't look the same team when he went off.
That dummy half run by the Ley replacement hooker up the main stand side 2nd half was a bit special.
Where was that other Ley prop, the one who clashed heads with Sau?
No exag to say it's become a hugely important game for both teams.
As for HKR,lost the plot after Sio went off.Shaun Lunt looks a shadow of the player he was at ours,age/injuries seem to have caught up with him, appears to have lost that mobility that made him a bit special.Wonder if Kelly will play for them again?

Dayne Weston?
He was playing. Wasn't too noticeable in the 1st half as he played the 1st 20 minutes of the match and all we did was defend, give away penalties and stand behind our own sticks in that period
2nd half he made more of an impact when we actually had the ball occasionally.

| Our outside edges are a cut above theirs. Esp our right hand edge. The key will be the forward battle. Our forwards look to have got some aggression back in their play. Brough needs to turn their pack again and again and get our second rowers running at drinkwater and ridyard. Leigh didn't miss many tackles so we will need broughy and (Ellis?) to be very smart in their play. I'm looking forward to this one.

Those where my thoughts too when watching yesterdays game,we need to get the ball out to the right edge brethren as quick and as often as poss, and we might inflict some serious damage.
Wonder if Hock will be run on prop for them this time, suppose if the late offloads come off it could spell danger,or like yesterday it might end up giving us the impetus we need.

| Next week if were not playing in a swimming pool should be very different. The ball may not be like a bar of soap and we may have a ref with a bit of a clue

I'm sure different weather conditions will change things- it will for both sides. A change in the weather won't make Worthington and Dawson better players though, and they will still have to get the better of international class players. As for the last bit- you are on a hiding to nothing there- but I wouldn't worry it will be us that have a beef.
Not sure what issue you had with the ref yesterday seemed to get most things right as far as I could see.

| Huddersfield have the players. They were tipped to be GF contenders this year.
But here they are in the Qualifers because the Giants haven't performed.
I've no idea if my team Leigh can beat them.

| International class players that have helped get you in the position that youve found yourselves in. Worthington has been brilliant all season and Dawson is class in attack and defence. Have Giants players never had a off game? Oh yes most of the season apparently

| Tonga was rested to be fully fit for the Giants match, and Moimoi failed a late fitness test. Will be a great game next week, that could go either way but if you lose we are promoted

| was surprised weston was playing yesterday, didnt he get a 4 match ban? must have been overturned.
hull kr leaving kelly out?! that could cost them dear now but it was peacocks/hudgells choice.
anyway the giants have improved, carry on the 2nd half performance against london and that defence will go along way to winning
looking forward to our first visit to leighs new stadium and renewing rivalries from a few years back when we had them in our pockets

Oh good- I hope Tonga plays leroy has had him in his pocket everytime they've played against each other. Tonga even came off worse when he tried to pick a fight with him. Got himself sent off in the process IIRC.
If you win you are guaranteed at least a place in the MPG ..... not necessarily promotion it could still all go down to points difference after the final week.

Not true.
A win next week and Leigh are promoted for certain.

As Nozzy says, if Leigh win next week, they are guaranteed third place at least
If Leigh beat Huddersfield, they wil have 10 points
Leeds can get a maximum of 14
Huddersfield would be able to get a maximum of 10 (but they'd have to beat HKR)
HKR can get a maximum of 10 (but they'd have to beat Huddersfield) Therefore one of HKR and Huddersfield can't get 10
London & Salford maximum of 8 (but they also have to play each other)
Batley a maximum of 8
Featherstone a maximum of 6.

| Yes sorry you are right- was thinking KR was on same points as us. Forgot they've also lost narrowly to Leeds.
