| so after a dreadful easter weekend results wise we face castleford away on sunday.
we played alot better against salford and should have had the 2 points really.
we welcome back wardle and picked up no further injuries so we are going to have our best team out for a while and starting to get those combos working.
the team is very low on confidence though and always hard to win at cas but can be done as we have shown in the past. they have won only 2 more games than us.
bentham is ref with childs a linesman

| Winnable, but like you say confidence is down and we need to start picking up points, just hope the players relax and not try and force things to try and win as that's when we make most of our mistakes.
Always a good away day at Cas though win or lose and these games have gone either way in the past.
12.27 train if anyone wants to tag along !

| Cas would be a good place to start and get things going, They are one of the better sides to watch and it will be a good atmosphere,
As brearley has said we have a good side to put out, and we weren't blown away by Salford so onward and upward. I can't go to this game sadly which is poor cause it brings back a lot of fond memories for me going to Cas.

| With more of the injured/suspended players getting back into the 17 to form a more competitive matchday squad and a little change of luck it could paint a whole different picture for us in a month or two. I'm expecting (hoping) to come away with the 2 points this weekend and for us to kick on for the rest of the season with hopefully a very good cup run to come. Just think we could have a stinker in the league and miss out on the playoffs but still end up running out at Wembley, sport can be a funny old game.

| lets hope all the rumours have now gone to bed for a while i have a sneaky feeling with the wright team we could just nick this one i would personally like to see tansey at full back if hes still here put wardle to centre and give foster a go on the wing connors defense and discipline has let him down and murphys having a nightmare do think he will come good if he has to fight for his place like when broughton was here young brierly looked very nervous at full back to me and the likes of luke gale would be testing him allday think he would be better in the middle running of brough with wood interchanging with hinchcliffe at hooker leeming does speed it up when he comes on but think wood is more creative and would give more impact on the bench

sure we are targeting the cup and would be great to lift the mood ...shame every other club targets it too!

was thinking we could put murphy to centre and foster back on the wing, can leave wardle in 2nd row then.
give brierley time.

Only change I would make is foster in for Murphy. I'm convinced Murphy is carrying an injury and I don't get why we are playing him if that's true considering his poor form. Connor has been attacking very well and shouldn't be dropped- he needs to work on his defence yes but Murphy being out of sorts hasn't helped that cause.
IF wardle plays it should be second row- although Olli doesn't deserve to be dropped he isn't playing the minutes Wardle can give us yet. Personally I'd make Wardle earn his place. Larne, Lawrence and taai are needed too much in defence to drop in place of Wardle.
All these change this to that and that to this people are suggesting is why we are where we are to start with. What we need right now is consistency not NB style tinkering. Brierley has been brought to play fullback- that's where he should play.

| personally id like to see a settled side and get the combinations working. All this chopping and changing just seems to be confusing everyone. I understood at the start of the season as injuries were a part but theres no excuse now. i for one still believe we can reach the tops 8s with the squad we have got and who knows maybe a day out at wembley.

| I'd start with...
Connor
Jerry
Leroy
Wardle
Tansey
Brough
Brierley
Crabtree
Hinchcliffe
Huby
Taai
Patrick
Lawrence
I think we put brierley at full back again were stupid, Connors still young give him time in one position and he'll adapt to it and start performing. Wardle is his best when he's at centre so keep him there with tansey on the outside. I think if brierley has a couple of games at half back we'll start to see what he can do

| He's obviously his best when he's at half back so I can't understand why we're putting him at half back, we've got a lot of options at full back tansey, foster, Murphy, Connor, grix etc

Tansey is going next week, foster hasn't got a contract, Murphy is having a nightmare and the last place I'd put him at the moment is fullback which needs a confident player. . Grix is injured and OOC -I can't see him 0playing another game for us. Why is he "obviously his best when he's half back" I thought he was better for us against Salford than he was against Wakey.
I honestly don't think he has the skill set to make a proper SL halfback, he doesnt organise and can't kick. Look at what happened when he came up against full time players in the middle every week in the middle 8s. I think he does have the skill set to be a good attacking FB- IF it's proven he can organise the defence. The juries out so far but play him in the position he was brought to play- as grixs replacement. And please god stop moving players around!!!!!
