Run leroy , run !.... And he did - twice - and we partied hard...:Black Backgrounds/Statler.gif

That looks a strong side.

Perhaps might start with lunt and have Robbo on the bench.

It gets me thinking about Baileys role. . Really , really rate him as a player , but not sure we found him the best position to get the best out of him, so he has the most effect on the games.

Can't wait for it to start

went with robinson to start as thats what anderson went with v halifax and robbo was brilliant.

yeh bailey has been battling it out with lawrence for the loose forward role, with lawrence still working his way back to fitness im happy to see bailey in there, very good ball player with skills to open up defences

We will probably line up as:

Shaul
Lineham
Sa
Yeaman
Talanoa

Pryce
Sneyd

Paea
Houghton
Watts
Ellis
Minichiello
Westerman

Bowden
Feka
Thompson
Rankin/Howarth/Cunningham

Our back is row is fantastic - I like the look of our first 13 - could be a close game

Seems most of us are picking same kind of side, which I think baloo will go with too. Expecting a tough game. If their pivots click, Hull will be a tough proposition.

we have beaten hull the last 4 times at home

last time out though they looked to be improving, if they have continued then they could turn us over especially with us having a disrupted pre season with fixtures being called off and teams pulling out

crowd?? 7500, anything above will be good

This maybe so brearley but aren't Giant fans a little concerned that your team may be a little 'under done' considering your one pre season friendly and that against a Championship side ?
Hull have played four times already and have had ample opportunity to give their 'first seventeen' as many minutes as their coach deems necessary.
I think 7,500 is a little optimistic but hopefully you can get somewhere near.

yes if you read the rest of my post i said we have had a disrupted pre season and previous elsewhere said we could be under done for this.

think the 7500 is very doable on the first home game, we have around 5k turn up anyway and with a few promos on and hull fc maybe bringing 2k we could well be pushing 8k, we shall see anyway! icon_biggrin.gif

fwiw raford had chance to play his first team starting line up in 3 games! the doncaster/york was a double header! do keep up seeing as your more upto speed on fc than your own team!
