No Giants in the dream team this season but 5 from an average Leeds team. We're the only club in the top 8 not to be represented which I find staggering considering we've lost the least amount of games in SL this season and finished only 1 point off the top.

To be honest I'm not too surprised, I don't think any of our players have been outstanding enough this season to warrant a place. The Dream Team is not who are the best players but who have been the best players this season and while I would question some of the selections I'm not sure any of the Giants squad can have too many complaints.
If anything, it may benefit us. Keeps the pressure off, keeps us under the radar, and give the players something to prove...

I thought Joe Wardle might have made it.

I would have hoped he would have been very close, he was certainly my Player of the Season, but Watkins and Shenton had excellent seasons too.

P.S. Welcome to the boards!

Apart from Wardle i don't think any of ours have been outstanding this year so i'm not complaining really.

Looking at the players in the dream team there's not many in there who've really stood out and been outstanding in my opinion.

i suspect it was close between wardle and watkins? to be honest i can really remember watkins playing that well on the odd ocassions i've seen him.and i wouldn't have expected ablett to be in ahead of, say, liam farrell.

other than those can't really argue with the rest, possibly russell ahead of hardaker?

Or Matty Bowen. How can Danny Brough win the Albert Goldthorpe medal for a season's achievement and not get in that team is unbelievable.
