Loads of cas fans on their forum seem to think we have signed Huby for next season

I know we enquired about him for this season but he is OOC now

Would be a great signing if true but i reckon Chan and Fooey would be going to pay his wages.

He could sign for any club in SL in my opinion so we will have to pay the salary to get him.

Wire desparately need a prop, a good replacement for both Morley at salford and Peacock at Leeds.

He wants to stay in Yorkshire apparently and has a young family - from Cas Fans

I think Fuey will definitely be leaving this year

Chan could possibly leave too as Patrick seems to have moved back to 2nd row permanently with also Ferres, Ta'ai stepping up his game, Lawrence and Bailey in the 2nd row/loose but i think he will be retained for another year or maybe 2?

Wouldn't surprise me if we see Kaufusi and Fairbank leave early

Would be disappointed to see Chan go. He has been outstanding with effort and enthusiasm.

Huby is a decent prop and I admire his one club loyalty. However I must be missing something as some on here talk like he is a world class superstar.
Come on why would we get rid of two top forwards just to pay one players wages.

agree, he has been good this season, but for 10 years he hasn't really been anything special- i know he's had bad injuries, but i don't think he is any better than what we have, and certainly not an improvement on jason chan!

saying that though he wouldn't be a bad signing if we could fit him in, if fooey leaves then that could happen, but i wouldn't be happy if we had to lose 2 quality players for 1 who's had a good season upto now

props dont really mature until there late 20s. Huby is just coming into his prime. he is one of the best props in SL IMHO

Agree 100% and would have been England prop if had played for one of the so called bigger clubs and hadn't had the knee injury. Great ball handling prop and not many of them about at present

The so called bigger clubs? Who are the most financially stable, have the biggest attendances and between them win all the trophies. So called?

Leeds won bugger all last year as did Saints and Wire. So called
