| Thoughts ?
Worst final i've ever seen - possibly one of the worst games i've ever seen too, absolutely zero entertainment value.
or was that just my view ?

| conditions didnt help
hull couldnt hold onto the ball so wigan didnt have to do much!
holdsworth kept kicking to tomkins...
crookes is awful, wardle and cudjoe would have a field day against him.
wigan played the conditions better without getting out of 1st gear!

| Agreed and I paid to go and watch it (at least Skolars v Cru was decent last night). Can not help thinking that we could not have picked a better time to have a decent season and I hope if we get to OT we do not balls it up like Hull did today.

| Terrible game glad I changed my mind and watched it on television.
Anyone know what the attendance was?

| Was awful. Whoever gets the opportunity should definitely pick Wigan at clubcall.

| Please tell us more- although slightly less exciting than watching paint dry your tale is far more entertaining than that final.

| Possibly the worst game of rugby I've ever watche! There was no atmosphere for a cup final, no skill, no tension you wouldn't think it was a cup final, very poor

| Sad thing is the grand final could be just as bad as SL has served up some dire games this season and with few "big" clubs being in form a blow out could be on the cardsat OT.
IF we win it as Wigan did no complaints but after thinking all along getting there is enough after the Final I think us getting there an not performing would be harder to take than going out of the play offs early.
Think we would make a fist of it and on current form be fancied to go all the way but Hull looked to have alot of things going for them and they messed it up lets hope if we get in that position we can show we are made of sterner stuff.

| Think the game shows we have nothing to fear from those two. Hulls ball retention was a joke, kicking game a joke, was urging them on to do something as clubs like hull need to be winning something a big club with good support break up the usual suspects!
Wigan well their form is dire, the early season domination of sides has dropped off 9 games four wins. And those wins by a point against Widnes, a last gasp try against wakey and a ref assisted win against hull kr!
Very disappointed at the game only a ten min spell where hull looked lively. Although the props had a good hard battle.

| Just goes to show how many of the crowd are neutrals brearley, many fans buy a ticket regardless of if there team is there or not, given the dross that was served up it won't have gained the game any new fans!

| I've been to the CC final every year bar 1 since 1998. This year was the first time I really didn't enjoy it. We were in the Hull end as a group of neutrals made up of Huddersfield and Halifax fans. The Hull fans all stood up to sing old faithful, obviously we remained seated. Hull fans the kindly threw about 10 coins at us.
There was a fight between Hull fans a couple of blocks away. The atmosphere was awful. The match was awful. The weather was awful. The weekend was only saved by good company.
