I have to admit i am disappointed the club have not made an ofifcial announcement he has gone. I could understand it whilst appeals etc were ongoing but asi am led to believe it has all gone.

Even a simple Keith Mason has left the GIants and is looking at his options elsewhere would have been good enough.

Despite this i would like to give credit to him as he was always a fans favourite. He consistently made good yards despite not been as big as many of his contemporaries.
He was very aggressive in defence and was one of the first out of the line to try to make a big hit.

He was a fierce warrior ( as Jamie Peacocks jaw would testify) and carried out his coaches orders on the pitch. Whilst he had a naughty side ( treading on Fieldens hand) it did win us that game at Wigan as they lost the plot.

He may not have been as effective recently but who was and maybe Mickey Rourkes affections led to him losing a bit of focus,

I agree D.G but I would like to think that the club were/are keeping it under wraps to in some way protect the players future.Whatever the Giants say or don't say some posters on this site would never be satisfied,unfortunately.I keep saying that patience is the key to most things.In a couple of weeks time it will be the clubs open day and shirt presentation, so I think the club will have to explain to fans why Mason has not been handed a shirt.I would,even at this late date hope that something could be worked out between the club and Mason but it must be unlikely now.Once the whole story comes out I cannot see either Mason or the Giants come out of it smelling of roses. A good servant for seven years I too would like to wish him all the very best.

a good servant yes, but last season very poor, but had reasons for this. cant see him improving anymore and if anything going backwards so not a big loss for us. we have the pack covered without him.

fielden, odonnell and taai can bring the aggression next season but without giving a penalty away everytime

I heard earlier today from a Leeds connection that Mason may be on his way to the Bulls.
