| seeing as our season is over, and not quickly enough some will say, lets have a little end of season awards ceremony on here !
Best Forward: Eorl Crabtree
Best Back/Half-back: Danny Brough
Best new signing:Greg Eden
Worst new signing: Tony Tonks (not his fault tho)
Best young player(u23): Greg Eden
Favourite moment: Beating Leeds at Headingley 2 years running
Worst moment: Having a heart attack at the Cas friendly game
overall opinion: Deja Vu - started well again and then it fell to pieces when other coaches worked us out and we had no plan B
Marks out of 10 for the season: 6/10

| Best Forward: Eorl Crabtree
Best Back/Half-back: Danny Brough
Best new signing: Jason Chan
Worst new signing: Rather not say, think TT was hard done to
Best young player(u23): Greg Eden
Favourite moment: Second half at Hull in the cup/ Double v Leeds
Worst moment: Could be one of many abject surrenders, but somehow throwing away the game at Widnes, despite being ahead with a penalty on half way with 1 minute to play
overall opinion: Good start that went downhill rapidly, having a head coach who didn't respect the club or the British game really hurt us (I see NB is in talks with West tigers before even taking over at Saints, so it ain't just us - that lack of integrity and lack of leadership resulted in a team with no heart imo): 3/10

| Best Forward: Eorl Crabtree
Best Back: Brough
Best new signing: Jason Chan
Worst new Signing: Scott Moore (can believe people say Tonks when he never got a chance)
Fave Moment: Drubbing Leeds at home with 12 men
Worst Moment: Magic Weekend - I knew then what would follow and that we had to be rid of Brown then. I didn't think what followed would be so bad though.
Overall: we have a playing roster that can push for the top. We just need the mentality to do it. 7/12
Our day WILL come.

Best Back/Half-back: Danny Brough
Best new signing:Greg Eden
Worst new signing: Tony Tonks shame he never got a good opportunity
Best young player(u23): Is Jerry unjder 23? If not Greg Eden
Favourite moment: 1st game of the season, none us gave them much chance, but they stuck it to them big style
Worst moment: Hull in the play-offs was an embarrassing way to end a season and gives me huge doubts for the next
overall opinion: 4/10 - with this squad and the start we made we should have finished at least in the top four, instead we were miles off.

| Forward - Crabtree
Back - Brough
New - Chan
Worst -
Giant Dee dead right re NB. The cliques, favourites, Brown at 13, Brown as captain, no props, non props at prop etc and a sloppy attitude etc all helped undermine our season.

| Great call with Lawrence. He's a top performer, needs Chan to show him how to run, but no-one has a better work rate or defence than Lawrence.

Best Back/Half-back: Danny Brough
Best new signing:Chan
Worst new signing: Moore
Best young player(u23): Michael Lawrence
Favourite moment: Beating Leeds at Headingley 2 years running
Worst moment: Everything after MM
overall opinion: An absolute disaster of a season. It was always likely season ticket prices would have to go up. Try selling them now after this seasons debacle.
Marks out of 10 for the season: 1/10

How many have been sold so far then? How does the number compare with previous seasons?

Favourite momentWigan away That was as good as it got.
Worst moment Far too many but it's got to be the drubbing at Cas away followed closely by humiliations at the hands of Wakey and Bradfud at home.
Overall opinion: Great start to the season followed by complete and utter dross. I think the scale of our blowout/apparent lack of effort will affect the crowds next season big time and set the club back 2/3 years.
Marks out of 10 for the season: Early season promise followed by very, very poor performances, in fact some displays are best described as pathetic. 2/10

From what i have heard sales are about 50% down.
Out of our group of 14 we have got precisely NO season tickets and that includes the kids.
Financially we are all struggling in different ways. and no one could renew

| I find it hard to understand anyone that disagrees with DGs assessment, perhaps his score of 1/10 is .harsh, but the points made are valid. I for one am concerned. Buying a season ticket is not necessarily value (due to friday/monday matches and holidays I personally will only get to 7-9 home matches). There are plenty decent seats in the stadium so seat renewal deadline is irrelevant. I want to see something to excite me, I am pretty sure there are a lot thinking like that.
So not yet an unmitigated disaster imo, but I await the mitigation with interest.

| Just because we have a lot of fickle fans who won't renew doesn't automatically confirm that last season was totally disastrous.
Good job there are a hard core who will back the club through thick and thin by buying st's,otherwise there wouldn't be a club for the fickles to come back to if the good times returned.
