For a laugh

1. Grix
Utterly woeful. Shouldnt have displaced Eden imo.

2. Murphy.
One shocking dropped catch under no preassure. Other than that, didnt do bad. He isnt anything but cover for the backs imo.

3. Gilly
Mediocre. Absent. Lacks pace for the centres. Past his sell by for a team with top 4 aspirations

4. Cudjoe.
World Class today. Should have had the try awarded.

5. Gerry
Boy have we missed him running from deep!

6. Brown
Like his namesake. Got to Go.

7. Brough.
Did his very best as ever, top notch and what a 40-20

8. Crabtree
Usain Crabtree played big minutes almost singlehandedly against the Wire pack. Proved his credentials as an outstanding forward, but cant do it all alone

9. Moore
Good first half IMO, great support for his try. Didnt see him in the first half since Brown has to have all the hookers int he world take a turn

10. Mason
Not good enough, too easily bossed today.

11. Fa'Alogo
Apart from his barnstorming run to set up the try for Moore was pretty anonymous IMO. Had to spend too much effort defending due to our lack of props

12. Ferguson
See 11.

13. Bruno
Worked hard, defended well but isnt a 13 I dont think

14. Robinson
Made us play a bit more direct, lacked ball runners at times. Typifies the problem with so many hookers in that as soon as we change there are too many chiefs

15. Faiumu
His big step and offload only works if there are ball carriers and go forward...of only he had held that ball or got the pass away

16. Patrick
Well marshalled by a dominant Wire pack. Didnt seem to be on for long

17. Fairbank
Didnt notice him that much. Again, too much work against a bigger pack
Worked hard

1. Grix
Had a nightmare. Felt sorry for him as he's been at stand off all year

2. Murphy.
One big mistake. Was ok.

3. Gilly
Very poor centre play. Blew chances that Wardle would have made more of.

4. Cudjoe.
Superb

5. Gerry
A good comeback game

6. Brown
Poor. confidence is shot

7. Brough.
As usual ran his heart out. Hope we can hang on to him

8. Crabtree
World class and true heart chasing back the break

9. Moore
A few bright patches. But unfit and slow.

10. Mason
Not good enough. Passed his sell by date

11. Fa'Alogo
Pretty unmemorable

12. Ferguson
Worked hard for little reward

13. Bruno
Worked hard, defended well should be in the backs

14. Robinson
Needs a go forward pack to be at his best. No runners. Better than Moore

15. Faiumu
Needed another prop on not another hooker. Played ok but no runners,

16. Patrick
Never got going

17. Fairbank
Worked his socks off. Tons of tackling. Very good after a long lay off.

Today I rated Leroy , Gerry , big eorl ( our player of the season by a country mile) and Danny brough.

Lots of average ratings for too many players for us to win - great effort but too many errors.

Zero rating for grix.

And a negative rating for brown ( both of them really)

Seems like Nathan's blaming the players after the game again. First rule of management is that when you criticise your staff you are indeed criticising yourself as their boss.

2. Murphy.
One big mistake. Was ok. I thought he did well. Ran ball back well and some great man and ball tackles

3. Gilly
Very poor centre play. Blew chances that Wardle would have made more of. GONE

4. Cudjoe.
Superb. Despite being on the losing side i felt he had one of his best ever games in a giants shirt

5. Gerry
A good comeback game

6. Brown
Poor. confidence is shot. GONE

7. Brough.
As usual ran his heart out. Hope we can hang on to him. Time for him to be made Captain

Not good enough. Passed his sell by date. Needs more support in the pack
11. Fa'Alogo
Pretty unmemorable Going
12. Ferguson

14. Robinson
Needs a go forward pack to be at his best. No runners. Better than Moore

15. Faiumu
Needed another prop on not another hooker. Played ok but no runners,

Agree with most of this but a few amendments. The one positive is that most of those who are poor are going so Anderson may have a clean slate to work with.

Cudjoe, jerry, brough, fergy and eorl aside i thought most others were very average or in the case of certain players, very poor, gilmour and brown are,at the moment stealing a living and should be dropped imo as they offer nothing to the team.

For a laugh

1. Grix
Was no way he was EVER gonna catch that first kick- should have had the second but did pull off a couple of great one on ones

2. Murphy.
One shocking dropped catch under no preassure. Did well defensively. Lacks the pace of George and the power of jerry.

3. Gilmour
Waste of a shirt today. Don't think I've seen him play a game in the last few weeks where he hasn't knocked on at least twice. Twice left huge holes for wire to skip through.

4. Cudjoe.
Fabulous!

5. Jerry
Strong running again- even after Westwood took his head off. Saw him practising kicks in the warm up but didn't use that tactic- shame.

6. Brown
Lost his mojo.

7. Brough.
what a 40-20..... But then the kicking game was pretty mediocre compared to briers who's A game was on show for the full 90.

8. Eorl
Will forever hold in my mind the replay of him catching chris bridge- is eorl that fast or bridge that slow icon_wink.gif again worked his heart out.

9. Moore
Played well. Sounds like the old boys network is sorting him a spot in aus so possibly won't be about next season.

10. Mason
Mind in Hollywood- hope mickey missed that train cause he won't have been impressed with his mate today!

11. Faalogo
Did he play?

12. Ferguson
Took the ball forward with intent, defended well- not a prop.

13. Bruno
Worked hard, defended well -I like this idea,

14. Robinson
Robbo's spark has diminished for me- he's becoming too workhorse like.

15. Faiumu
No one running onto the pass, not a prop and it shows.

16. Patrick
Similar to fergi

17. Fairbank
Did really well until Westwood (again) slammed his elbow into his head as a bit of afters and then didn't seem to know what day it was.

Wish some fans would take there Crabby specs off apart from runing down the slowest centre on the planet he did nothing FFS the mans 19st and 6 6, he should be blasting his way through deffences and his line speed is poor, i am sorry if it upsets people but he aint the player people make him out to be.

You dont half post some tosh

He is one of the best props in the game - but on Sunday he was up against two of the other best props in the game, and having to carry our pack himself in attack

1. Grix - Rubbish, no better than Eden at his worst !!!!

2. Murphy - 1 big error but didn't get much chance to attack

3. Gilmour - Awful, again - does he put lard on his hands before he goes out ?

4. Cudjoe - Excellent in attack and defence, his best game by a mile this year

5. Jerry - ran hard, tackled well - good to have him back !

6. Brown - offered little to zero again

7. Brough - busy, didnt have chance to put any pressure on due to kicking inside own half

8. Eorl - worked hard but was never going to take on their pack on his own.

9. Moore - did ok, scored the try but nothing of note really

10. Mason - ran fast but didnt really cause any damage

11. Faalogo - looked ok to start with then fizzed out

12. Ferguson - best forward for us i though

13. Bruno - solid as always, ran hard

14. Robinson - played behind a pack that was battered and it showed, no chance to create

15. Faiumu - ok for me, couple of good steps - imagine how good he would be if we played him at hooker !! icon_wink.gif

16. Patrick - well marked by the Wire lot, couple of good angles but no breakthrough

17. Fairbank - added something when he came on and took he ball up well.

My MOM - Leroy Cudjoe

I am sure you do have your opinion, and think its more valid than mine.

I didnt say he was THE best, I said one of the best.
He does lack some agression at times, but that doesnt stop him being a tremendous player and great forward.

Cant be that bad to test himself against the best the Aussies have and come away with their plaudits.

More than a lot of forwards have done.

I would agree with most of that except:

Kevin Brown - Overrated? no he is just garbage

Fairbank - great prospect and a good player (look at your comment on your own board re Burgess)

Second best prop in the league according to Opta stats, behind Andy Lynch.
