Didn't think we deserved the win,but was very close but their defence was fantastic at times,and the were pretty clinical at times, silverwood was baffling at times, some strange decisions.
Cracking atmosphere, good turnout from the fartowners and were quite vocal,
all in all catalans deserved it but disappoining from us

I agree about Silverwood. Some strange decisions both ways. One glaring error was the Huddersfield restart after the dragons' last try. The ball only went nine metres. I sit level with the 40 metre line so I was directly in line with it!

Anyway good match and good support from Huddersfield. Chatted to some of your supporters afterwards good comments about the Dragons, but one of your lot was clearly not in the mood to talk! He was rather cut up about the loss I think!

As usual the dragons fans were fantastic even the noisy children in tribune ouest who had been taunting us throughout the game were shaking our hands and clapping us, shame about the idiot giants fan,you do get the odd one.
What was your view on the eden no try? He ruled held up but definately got the ball down,i thought it was more a double movement if anything

I was just in front of the action and Eden didn't try. Setaimata Sa clearly got his hands under the ball.

the try after we scored seemed to be costly...grix dropped the ball? normally safe as houses under the high ball

nathan brown says eden got the ball down and thinks george was unlucky to be given his try too

but overall hes not too downhearted

A number of us saw Eden get the ball down, Paea was the defender? Looking at the highlights it did look like Eden got it down, Nathan Brown said after the game on Sky that it was a try and if the ref had the option of video replay it would have been given - C'est la vie as they say in French

i thought eden had clearly grounded it too but haven't seen the replays yet.

unfortunately not all those little dragons were well behaved, there were some throwing leftover sandwiches, and chewing gum, one kid abot 10 yrs old sat right at the back, skulker hit a woman on the back of the head with a bottle, fortunately it was plastic and empty, or could have been nasty. Any Catalan supporters reading this please take note.

Yes gum and chewed up food thrown-and two fingered gestures-there doesn't seem to be anyone in charge of them!

there were one or two unruly kids yes,but the vast majority were well behaved and were high fiving us after the game and shouting 'merci' at us.

I thought that the majority of the kids were well behaved as well and actually, I quite enjoyed sitting amongst them. They certainly added to the atmosphere and it was good to see so many young people being so passionate about the game - the Giants are missing a trick here.

However, there will always be bad apples and unfortunately I was appalled by some the behaviour of a couple of Giants fans.

Firstly, there was a guy on our CST bus from the city to the stadium who was unecessarily abusive and threatening towards David Foti. He'd obviously had more than a skinful and was unhappy with something that David had previously told him, but if he reads this forum, now that you have sobered up, do you maybe think that there was a reason he didn't want you on his bus?? You were an embarrassment to yourself, to the Giants, to Huddersfield in general but more importantly, you were intimidating towards my family and other supporters on the bus - it's not on.

It was also obvious that he and a couple of others on the bus were part of the so-called 'singing section' and the songs being sang on the bus were, how shall I say this, not appropriate when families are present. In fact, I don't think that they were appropriate at all. Just because nobody else wanted to join in with you, doesn't warrant the abuse. We were vocal when it counted - in the stands.

The subject of the singing section gets brought up quite regularly on here with regular invites to go and join them. Well,from what I saw on Saturday, it may be that a couple of truly unpleasant people are keeping folk away. I'll certainly be staying where I am thanks. But before anybody jumps down my throat, I don't have an issue with the majority and had a good craic with some of you on Saturday, but unfortunately, you know what they say about them bad apples I mentioned before...

I know who u are referring to and yes he was bang out of order and i told him that and apologised to dave foti on our behalf,i agree about the singing,im one of the vocal fans but didnt think those songs were appropriate on the bus and did tell them to save it for the bar/at the ground.he later apologised to me saying he was out of order but doesn't change the fact that he gave himself and us a bad name.
And he is very vocal but not part of our singing section in the kilner bank, your welcome to join us at the back,anyone who steps outta line gets pulled up for it.

He asked me, if i new the times of the public buses and i said no (as i dont) but pointed him to the bus timetable, then he started abusing me saying YES YOU DO, BUT YOU DONT WANT TO TELL ME .

Then after deciding to jump on our bus, he started again and didnt believe me, when i told him, that this was a private bus booked by CST , i could have decided not to let him on , but i knew it would have blown up and police called .lol , what an attitude problem.
