Not many successful appeals this season yet Leeds get one.

Must admit I did think a ban was harsh and not the norm for raising the knee- but to give it then take it away just shows how clueless the rfl are. They are a laughing stock but are so far up each others s on the golf course they haven't noticed.

TBH I'm not surprised, if the bookies ran a book on an appeal being successful I'd have put the mortgage on it.

Come on guys, this is a raised knee we're talking about, it's not like he belted someone off the ball or anything.

Whats the point in having bans if you can have a tantrum and get away with it. Well done to the RFL again you have showed what a great organisation you really are. I couldnt care less if it was Bailey or anyone else, i am never ashamed to be a Giants fan but i am ashamed that we are run by the RFL too many times.

No-one can be surprised RB got let off surely? Mind you I haven't seen the alleged incident so I don't know how bad it actually was. I've got nothing against Bailey but the RFL are clowns. Toothless hounds the lot of them.

ATEOTD they can't ban him, it's a big game this Friday and Leeds want him to play. The previous offences and subsequent warnings as to future conduct don't really matter. If it weren't an important game he'd be banned but given it is an important game he has to play.

Just seems like another pointless exersise by the RFL. They could have saved a lot of time and effort just by phoning Bailey and saying "Your fine mate, dont worry about it"

Sometime wonder if they do it so red hall can attempt to justify there jobs!

RFL: im afraid ryan bailey is banned for foul play mr hetherington
GH: banned? do you know who we are? we have an important game coming up you can't ban our players
RFL: oh yes of course,mer hetherington,we're very sorry,we wont bother you anymore.
GH: make sure you dont! goodbye

I was surprised rl becks banned him at first - perhaps they wanted two lots of expenses.

No suprise to me, the RFL make a rod for their own back and historical cases give you more leverage against them. I'm sure someone from Leeds reminded the disciplinary panel about Lee Radford punching Bailey 4 or 5 times while he was on the floor holding the ball, Bailey sustaining a cut head that required stiches. RFL disciplinary decision, no ban just a fine. It's the right decision in the context of previous decisions.
