| 1998 - 12,417
1999 - 6,581
2000 - 7,083
2001 - 6,448
2003 - 8,297
2004 - 8,039
2005 - 6,022
2006 - 7,002
2007 - 6,824
2008 - 10,876
2009 - 7,982
2010 - 9,774
quite surprised by this - only 2 10,000 + crowds against them.
interesting to see how the figures have more or less remained around the same mark as upto say 2007 they would bring thousands over and it would be like a home game for them.
Whereas the last few years where their following has been literally down to hundreds its the Giants fans who have made the crowd look decent.
If Bradford's away support gets back upto what they had in their glory days and our crowds continue to rise then this fixture should be attracting 13, 14,000+ every year.
Its a shame our crowds were so poor at the height of the Bulls success otherwise this game would have had some huge potential.

| 10 k + would be great we are using 2 buddy vouchers this year
even MRS DEF4x4 is coming. She only enjoys the rivalry not the game
last year she only enjoyed wigan away and said why can't every game be like this.
worse little def4x4 (5yrs) has decided to support Batley Bulldogs as they have a better mascot and play better music to the games (gutted)

| Bulls supporters will not want to come and pay our prices when they got season tickets for £60 for 13 home games.

Yeah, but you guys still don't travel in vast numbers. So having a crack at other people's travelling support is always going to be funny.

Come to Odsal on a bulls home game this season, it'll be the first time Huddersfield fans will have seen a crowd.

Our away support is improving. ATEOTD no one has any right to throw mud at others, no matter how many they bring anywhere.

| I would live to see the demographics of
a) Our season ticket sales
b) Our Home gate attendances
Because I believe therein lies our 'problem' of away support. As a club we have strived to improve our home gates on the back of promoting the game to the youngsters - I believe our proportion of family attendances is higher than most clubs in Superleague and subsequently going to an away game on an ad-hoc basis is both expensive and a bit of a logistic nightmare. I can barely get two kids dressed and out of the house before 7:30am so I can go to work!
I have seen that our attendances have improved massively for certain games, Warrington is becoming a game of choice for many people because of the ease of traveling, the atmosphere and welcoming nature of the home fans (albeit loosely segregated) and the overall matchday experience. When you compare that to the Bulls for example where generally our fans congregate on the 20m line, are subject to verbal abuse from the home fans and have a p!ss poor view for the kids. I gather from a Wakey friend that the gameday experience is changing at Bradford with the bringing back of some of the off-field experience which make it a great place to go - hopefully that will improve things and attendances.
At the end of the day, is it not upto any club to promote an away match, take a look at any of the club websites and see if there is anything for visiting away fans? This would surely assist in encouraging people to attend from afar.

Bradford is a City Huddersfield is a Town. Going off attendances to heads of population for both areas I think we'd come out quiet healthy compared to Bradford. We've won nothing of note for the past few years and still our crowds are looking healthy compared to a few years ago.
Whats going to happen when we win something which isn't too far away going on how we are progressing. We'll get the fair weather fans coming as they'd be watching a team that wins things and the crowds will go up which has been the case at both Leeds and Bradford.
As for Odsal, what can I say!! It makes Wakefield and Salford's grounds look good. In plain English its a s**thole that needs knocking down and starting again but its just a shame you can't afford to do it. It might have been a good ground in the 1920's but not now. Go play at that other s**thole in Bradford, Valley Parade. Both clubs could live off their recent history which they can't seem to let go of. You can live in the past and still believe that the Bulls are the team to beat and has every opposition supporter quaking in their boots at the thought of playing you.
