Referee's are usually announced on the Tuesday. This week the lower league games have already been decided, but I think that may have something to do with the lack of needed referee's for the top flight games this weekend.
Let's face it, it'll be Ganson and Silverpud as the referee's, but which is on the field and which with his finger on the button isn't quite as certain

I think the thing that will work against Ganson getting it will be that he's took charge last year, so the RFL are likely to give it to someone else.

Logical, but I think the RFL will give it to a referee on merits. I think evryone remembers the years Russel Smith and Stuart Cummings alternated. |
